The 40th wedding anniversary cake I ordered was beautiful - everything I'd asked for. It was also completely delicious. The cake for my Dad’s birthday was so incredibly done (in the shape of books he’d written) he genuinely thought it was a pile of books on the table! He was so impressed, it really made his day. What do you love most about your job?
Designing and getting ready to create an amazing cake. Then seeing the finished product, and realising that it's made someone's special day that little bit more perfect.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I realised I was pretty good at the whole cake thing. People kept asking me to make them one, and wanting to pay me to do so. It took off from there, and I realised that combining my own business while raising my family worked for me.
Why should our clients choose you?
I love cake (who doesn't) but I also love people. This combination means I love to make others happy and I always go above and beyond to do that. From the minute you meet with me to taste some cake and talk through your ideas you'll be given a completely comprehensive service that takes the stress out of planning this bit of the wedding. From design to delivery and set up at your venue, nobody ever regrets hiring me to make their cake.
