Paul has been very professional from the start. He was very responsive on emails, which left a great impression. Prices very reasonable. On the day his guys were early, and got the job done well and quickly. They were very polite men, and respectful of our things. They covered the floors and bannisters and I didn't see many marks on walls (maybe one or two but that's very reasonable!). All the boxes were intact and we are very happy with the services! I can’t thank Paul and the team enough for the friendly and professional way in which they managed my recently widowed mother’s house move. On the removal day itself we faced a number of delays as a result of issues down the chain. The team took all of this in their stride ,remained calm and helpful throughout and called in additional crew members to help with the unloading when we finally got to the new property.Our buyers removers in comparison were aggressive and threatening, seeking to put pressure on my elderly mother to force access to her property prior to our buyer’s funds coming through.Clearly there are some cowboys out there. We had a 2 day move due to the distances involved.Loading on day 1 with 2 vehicals (1 for the house contents and 1 for over60 garden pots etc! ..) carefully done with not a mark on any walls, doors or items. It was done speedily and effeciently and carried out in a courteous and helpful manner, 1st class oh and they came right on time.Uploading on day 2, a Saturday morning no less arriving right on time. White Rose Removals made moving day not only stress free but actually pretty enjoyable! From the initial contact and meeting Paul, we always felt we were in safe hands and weren’t dealing with someone who was just looking to make money off our needs. We had quotes from a couple of other removal companies who were all extortionate whereas the good honest Yorkshire folk at White Rose Removals gave us a genuine, reasonable price despite the fact we were moving to a new location over an hour away. On the day of the move the guys were with us bright and early, got loaded up quickly, leaving us with time to clean the old house and as soon as we had the keys for our new home, they were outside ready to offload. We were unloaded by 3pm leaving us with plenty of time to start unpacking and settling in. From Paul, to the office staff and the removal team, everyone we dealt with were friendly, polite, efficient and knowledgeable. Nothing is ever too much for these guys. Everyone said moving would be stressful, but Paul and the White Rose team made it really simple.Hannah and Olivia in the office were really friendly and efficient, answering all my questions and getting us organised. Jake was like a machine coming the day before to pack our fragile items - definitely recommend this service if you decide not to go for the full pack, everything was securely wrapped and arrived in one piece! What do you love most about your job?
I've worked in this industry and have loved it! I've travelled all over the UK, Ireland and Europe helping families and businesses relocate and 10 years later, I still love the industry and the people. Whether you're moving within Yorkshire or to the Shetland Islands, the excitement that comes with moving is still there. Helping people during significant changes in their life is a great experience and you share these moments on a daily basis. Years later, you're still remembered by a family you moved in a supermarket because you were part of one of the most memorable days in their life.
What inspired you to start your own business?
At the age of 20, I had my first child and I felt I had gained all the experience I needed working for national removals companies for most of my teenage years. Being young, confident and thinking I always knew best - I decided to sell my car and finance a van during the worst recessions this country had ever seen. The rest is history! :-)

My workforce consists of my partner, my cousins, my brothers, lads that I went to school and grew up with, local lads who were born in Leeds and relish the opportunity to be part of something rather than working for a large company and being a number on the payroll.
