So glad to have found this shop. Used to frequent Magic shops when I was younger and they were pretty rare back then but even more so nowadays. Got out of practice for a bit once some of those shops closed. So imagine my excitement when I found White Rabbit within walking distance to my house. This place has helped rekindle my love for Magic. James and Joshua have been nothing but accommodating to me. This is a family run place with great family values. Never any pressure to buy, always eager to show you the latest and greatest and their love for the Art really shows through. There have been times where I've literally just hung out for hours to chat and practice. They've gone thru a few changes the past few years and are at a new location in Santa Paula which is a little further than a walk away now but I will gladly make the short trip out there to support this business. If you are interested in learning they offer classes as well. One of the best things about this place is that you can touch and see tricks or see them performed in front of you so you know what you're getting. When purchasing tricks this can be a big deal as you don't get that luxury when purchasing online and can sometimes lead to buyers remorse. I can't say enough about this place other than go check them out. Oh and they have a pretty insane collection of custom playing cards which is worth seeing by itself. After going to White Rabbit for more than a year I have to update my review. First to all people interested in magic I have to say this is a great shop. From supplies to the latest magic tricks White Rabbit has everything the magician would want. For those who like card magic and all the fancy decks that are the trend, White Rabbit has over 400 deck designs. Pretty much a whole room is dedicated to decks, DVDs and books. For those seeking the artistic or strange White Rabbit has Escape Rooms, music studio, 75-seat theater and more. It is definitely worth a visit for all creative types and thrill seekers. More...

My family and I just did the Houdini Escape room! Omg!!!!! So much freakin fun! Our 16 y/o and our 13 y/o enjoyed as much as my husband and I did too. At their age it's hard to find events or activities that will keep them engaged and or interested in, and this exceeded ALL OUR EXPECTATIONS. It was a closet full of emotions trying to make it out! Including humor, which made it all the better. The story line to the room was phenomenal. We are definitely fans of the paranormal, magic, sci-fi, all those wonderful aspects of the unknown. So we really appreciated all the thought that went into the story. The room was amazingly designed too. Makes you feel like you were in the story and not just a guest. I can't wait for them to expand and make other escape rooms! With how they did this one, what's to come will be awesome. I just know it! What a great place. This is a place that I would recommend to EVERYONE! I can't wait for more!! More...

I love love love The White Rabbit Magic Shop! I used to perform magic when I was younger and then kind of just stopped (even though I would practice from time to time). Then by chance I found this shop and my love for magic was rekindled (cheesy I know). But seriously James/Josh are the best. You can tell how much they love what they do. Always eager to show the latest and greatest tricks. As much as I love ordering stuff online it's refreshing to have a brick and mortar location to actually see and feel the product. You like playing cards? Well they have the biggest collection of cards in the county! They've recently added an escape room which is awesome and I believe it's the hardest one here in the county as well. They are also adding a virtual escape room which from what I've seen so far is absolutely amazing. Sharing the space is The non profit side which is the House of Magic, they have a wide variety of classes and events going on. But I'll have to write a review for that place next. Overall this place has so much going for it and it's a shame that not too many people know about this gem hidden right here in Ventura. Go check this place out, go spend some money, you won't be disappointed! Oh and be in the lookout for their Magic shows, they have stage performances and close up performances featuring Magic Castle members. More...

This is more than a magic shop! We came here to buy a gift for my 6 year old cousin, and the shop owner was super helpful in picking the right kit and even showed us a few of the tricks. There is a variety of items with varying price levels. The shop is in an unexpected little lot, but easy to find if you follow a map. They also do magic shows, improv, music and art lessons for kids (maybe for adults too?), murder mystery dinners, events, and there is also an escape room! We will definitely be back, there is so much going on in this magical place. More...

White Rabbit Magic Shop is by far the best I've been to and I've been to a lot in California and Las Vegas and I love this one, they're very personal and helpful and joyful we come to this shop all the time for our needs even when we lived in LA. .
