What do you love most about your job?
We are fascinated by the building process and the way things are made. As passionate designers, we enjoys finding creative designed solutions to your needs and are able to combine imaginative and innovative ideas with the technical knowledge needed to deliver them. We believe that design is an iterative process of testing, making and interrogating, and love engaging in this 2 way process with all of our clients. It is this level of interrogation in the studio that elevates the quality of all of our projects, and the satisfaction of all of our clients
Planning applications
- Production of drawings for planning approval from the local authority
- Production of a design and access statement to accompany any planning application
- Consultation with the planning case officer during the application
- Pre-planning application and consultation (if required)
Building Control applcations
- Production of drawings for your local authority building control department
- Consultation with the building control officer during construction
Design services
- Producing sketch layouts and options for your house
- Producing 3D views and CGI's if required
- Specification of materials, fixture and fittings, lighting and furniture
Contract administration
- Acting as a contract administrator for the contract with your chosen builder
- Certifying valuations and payments
- Dealing with contractual claims e.g. claims for a client changes or extensions of time
- Monitoring site progress
