This past week at my office we had a company meeting and we were looking for something to order for the whole office. The team was in the mood for some sandwiches and one of the workers recommended WhatSub. They catered to our whole office, our huge order was correct, and delivery was spot on! All the different kind of sandwiches we ordered were amazing and the office loved how they use Boars Head meats. Their veggie sandwich was really good also. The quality of the meat here is unbelievable. On top of that the quality of the bread is surprisingly good. I come from back east where the bread is amazing. Solid place that's near where I work. Also, my go to place on Saturdays! They have a great sub menus and I've been here a few times and will be definitely be back. The bread is fresh and the meats seem to be as well. They have a descent variety of toppings which is also great. Lots of beverages and chips etc. are also available. Today I had the chipotle chicken and it was really good. I saw someone order the meatball sub and that will be my next choice as it looked amazing! The subs are big...definitely bigger than the chain that calls its staff artists and has gone down since the 90's LOL I'd recommend this place to anyone who enjoys big sandwiches. They also have wraps etc so there is something for everyone. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars as I feel it's overpriced. Example: A large sub will cost you $15. Stumbled upon this place while looking for lunch on Ritual, and I'm glad I decided to give them a try. I usually stick to Bay cities for subs but I think this place might become my go-to since it's waaay less of a hassle than fighting the crowds at Bay Cities. I ordered the Turkey, Bacon, and Guacamole sub and it was excellent. Can't go wrong with Boar's Head meats, and I was pleasantly surprised by the guacamole as well. I would have liked it to be a bit chunkier but that's really just splitting hairs. It was kind of difficult to taste the bacon, but I'm not in love with bacon that much so the amount was just right for me. If you're a bacon lover, though, you might find yourself wanting more on this sub.Bonus points for being on Ritual (gotta get those rewards!) and pickup was super easy and ready on time. I stumbled upon this place with m'lady one lovely Sunday afternoon on our way to pick up a lemon tree from a friend's house. The plan was to take her to the burger place a couple doors down, but they happened to be closed that day so we decided to check out the sandwich place. I was a little unexcited at first, since the sandwiches cost a couple bucks more than I'm used to. After I took a couple bites, my opinion changed to thinking I got a better value than what I do at other places. The sandwich was amazing. I couldn't ask for a better sub. TL;DR: Hands down the GREATEST SUB IN LOS ANGELES and everyone should try it!I don't usually write Yelp reviews; but, I had to for this phenomenal sandwich restaurant! When I went to WhatSUB, I ordered the Turkey breast sandwich with all the toppings and it was by far the greatest sandwich I've had in a long time. The employees were also very nice as if they were godsends. I felt like I was treated like a king with their great hospitality! This place only uses the finest and quality ingredients. The fact t hat Boars Head deli meat and cheeses is used makes it so much better. Everyone who is reading this should try WhatSUB out for themselves!
