As the organizer of the majority of these events, I find Rahul and his team to be responsive, collaborative, and approachable. They even take the time to coordinate the linen so they match our company colours of blue and orange, and Rahul often shows up wearing an orange sweater for our event! Wow! Just Wow! A family owned and operated banquet facility capable of hosting larger functions of 600 people or intimate functions for 70 people. We celebrated our wedding ceremony and reception at the westmount event centre on Saturday November 24, 2018. It was the most amazing day of our lives!We chose the. Westmount Event Centre after having scoped out several different banquet halls within the greater Toronto area. All the banquet halls we visited seemed to be lacking something for us, whether it be the staff, the atmosphere, the menu or the venue itself. We were getting frustrated, we had to pick someplace to accommodate our wedding but we didn't really LOVE anything we saw.My husband's brother got married at this venue 12 years ago when it was ran under different owners and called La Gondola. We figured we would check it out, after all we had nothing to loose, we we're exhausted at looking around and not finding anything that quite felt right to us.We made an appointment on line to meet with someone from The Westmount Event Centre to discuss wedding packages and the minute we came through the doors to meet with the representative, we were greeting by the most warm and sincere person named Rahul.Rahul and his family along with wonderful, dedicated and loyal employees are the heart and soul of the westmount event centre. In every aspect of their daily operation, their love of hospitality of event planning is very apparent. The food was absolutely incredible and just kept coming, the staff was prompt with serving entree's, the banquet hall was clean and very easy to access with lots of free parking.We would highly recommend this venue to anyone requiring an ultimate banquet hall experience. We had our wedding at westmount on Friday, and I only have good things to say about the experience. The owners were quick to respond and helped us in every way possible. When I first walked in I knew I wanted to have my wedding here because it looked like a beautiful ballroom out of a fantasy. When I walked in when everything was set up for my wedding I was in tears. We had our ceremony and reception at Westmount. We initially signed our contract with Tony who was amazing and very helpful. A few months after we learned that management had changed. However, we were pleasantly surprised that new management was very accommodating and helpful as well. They did everything they possibly could to make our day go smoothly. Sarah was very pleasant and professional in all of our interactions. She did an amazing job so that our day was beautiful. Our experience at Westmount Event Centre was amazing. The food first off which is one of the most important part of an event tasted amazing. All of our guests enjoyed everything. And everything ran exactly to our schedule. They were so accommodating with the changes we made to the type of pasta. The sauce was delicious coming from a GREEK/ITALIAN family. Everything was so fresh and it tasted exactly the same as it did when we went for our food tasting. The decor was exactly what we had asked for. The staff and servers were amazing. Especially one gentleman named MARIO he was so sweet. Our bar tender was so much fun, he would pour a round for the men and then pour a pretend shot of ice tea for our JR groomsman so he wouldn't feel left out. It was hilarious.
