Crom estate is full of history and is beautiful to walk around. 2/4/2017 was in Crom church of Ireland for morning service. It is a lovely old church, liked the service and the organ music. Really liked the church bells ringing. Really enjoyed it and can't wait to come back in the near future. More...

It's a magical experience as if from a mediaeval Hollywood flick. We were received and we're given an informative tour by the Earl himself who is very friendly and approachable person. Would recommend anyone looking for a nice break More...

I am blessed to live close to the Estate and have enjoyed many early morning walks with my children over the years. The younger children's imaginations have run wild with stories of adventures, fairies, magical castles all magnified by the reindeer and the little red squirrels appearing in the woods! These are memories for a lifetime.
I have enjoyed the West Wing for special occasions especially Christmas with the two youngest. They informed me that we had met the 'real' Santa this year (apparently it was obvious because of his wide belt and his amazing beard and rosy cheeks) and we especially enjoyed the privacy of meeting with Santa on our own in the drawing room - they were truly mesmerised! I will be going back this year to savour the moment with my two youngest again.
The grounds of the Estate are stunning and I will never grow tired of our walks. It is so energising to look all around the Estate and having the opportunity to appreciate the absolute beauty of the lough and the surrounding islands. My only regret is that I live so close to the estate that I cannot rationally go glamping, camping or hire out the beautiful cottages down near the public jetty. My children can't ever understand this so I might have to give glamping a go for a night so at least the children will think they have been on holiday even if only two miles from home...
The little tea shop has been such a welcome addition to our trips to Crom and I highly recommend the Victoria sponge... Everything in the tea shop is home baked and so mouthwatering even if 'just looking'.
I cannot recommend Crom Estate highly enough and I promise you will not be disappointed if ever you have the good fortune to avail of its splendour.

The Crom Castle experience is exceptional and well worth the trip, from the beautiful home and warm hospitality of Lord Erne to the majestic wonder of the scenery and historic setting in addition to the many rare and exotic plants, your stay will be a delight from beginning to end. Lord Erne will tailor your stay to suit your interests in addition to being a charming and genuine example of living history himself. I highly recommend it as a destination visit! More...

The Writers' Retreat in March 2017at Crom Castle was the most magical experience I could imagine. With its sense of time and history wonderful lake views, daffodils peeping out from the frosty ground and the amiable presence and interest from the Earl, nothing could have been improved. Would love to go there again !
