Lisa of West Photography did an amazing job with our wedding day photos! We really wanted to capture the memories of our big day considering we did not hire a videographer, and she did just that. She caught all the special moments. She was also VERY easy to work with, and so so quiet at taking pictures. I was never disturbed by the camera, I was able to be focused on my husband.

Nathaniel photographed our July wedding in Chicago, IL. He took incredibly stunning pictures that captured the day perfectly. I contacted Nathaniel after finding some of his award winning work on a photojournalism site as I was looking for a very specific type of photography for our wedding. He met with my husband and I at a coffee shop a couple of times and responded timely to all my emails regarding logistics, suggestions, ideas,etc.

The day of the wedding he was with us all day, starting with the "getting ready shots", and culminating with the reception. Our wedding party took three hours prior to the ceremony to take pictures all over downtown Chicago. Nathaniel and his wife were prepared, had a plan, and even managed to capture some terrifying moments into amazing photo opportunities (my veil flew away and almost fell into a lake, saved in the nick of time by the best man).

I thought that for the price, his service offering was great. We opted not to purchase an album as a way to save costs, but the samples he showed us were fantastic.

I could not be happier with the quality of his photos, and would absolutely work with him again. I recommend this husband-wife duo to any couple looking for pictures with an edge and a photojournalistic style. More...
