About

I’m Wendy Elaine Keogh, a professional photographer based in Manchester.

I’ve been around photography since an early age, my uncle was a photographer, I remember walking into his house, the smell of chemicals wafting from the dark room, as I grew older my passion grew with me.

I began started taking photography seriously in 2008, I started out following another passion, music, photographing concerts across the UK while studying. I began to branch out into other areas of photography such as photojournalism while at university, and since I have been diversifying my subjects.

My photographic style

Documentary photography, or candid style has always been my go to. I love to be a fly on the wall of someone else’s life, capturing a moment unnoticed. During these times I like to capture moments of humour and moments of joy that we all love to remember. Looking through my images you will notice that my style is very candid, with influences from street photographers and photo journalists. I can also be very clean and crisp, following clean lines and backgrounds for portraits, food or product photography.

I use a range of lenses, my favourite being a 50mm Nikon lens I often use for portraits. It has a great focal length for weddings and and can give a wide range of styles of portraits.
