I have been to quite a few massage places, but none of them gave me such good experience as Alicia. She would find my tense muscle groups at the moment and melt the ache away. I always have hard time getting up after the sessions from how relaxed I would be. If only I could just fall asleep on the massage table, I would be in heaven. I started going to Alicia after having a car accident. I was experiencing neck and shoulder pain even after completing physical therapy. I started looking for a massage therapist and found Wellness Through Massage on Angie’s List and now I am into my 4th year using her. My neck and shoulders are fine now but I continue the massages because they feel great!!I As I get older it seems like more and more muscles and joints are stiff. HANDS DOWN the best massage I've ever had. Three weeks ago I strained my right rhomboid. Because of this 1) I haven't been able to sleep more than four hours in one night 2) I haven't been able to get work done at my desk because even while sitting the pain was too much to handle 3) I've hardly been able to eat because of the pain (bonus: I lost 5 lbs! ). It's been hell. I've tried everything from going to a chiropractor, stretching/icing, watching YouTube videos with suggested fixes by physical therapists, to taking pain meds and NOTHING was working. A friend suggested a massage. Thanks to trusty Facebook / Angie's List reviews I found Alicia. A 1.5 hour massage later.. HOLY AMAZINGNESS BATMAN! Alicia found two pretty serious knots and WENNNNT TO WORK on them! I've heard many people say that only male massage therapists are strong enough to really dig in. OH NO NO NO NO! Don't let her small frame fool you, this woman is solid! 24 hours after my massage I'm happy to report that 1) I slept NINE hours last night (WHAAAA?!!?) 2) I'm leaving this review while seated comfortably at my desk and 3) I'm eating some yumtown breakfast and thus will probably gain the aforementioned 5 pounds I lost back by this evening. :D Now I'm not one to splurge on myself (to put it into perspective this is the first massage I've had in 7 years and I've only had one pedicure)... but this... I had muscles that hurt that i didn't no hurt my honest opinion go to a ciropactor get everything put in place then Go and get your massage that s what I would recamend and love your self enough to do that!
