Lovely place to visit. Lots to see and experience. Great for a day out on your own or with family and friends. I'd recommend a visit. Lots of walking involved. Beautiful flowers, landscape and scenery. I would advise to look online to see if there are any special offers available for the day you want to visit. Discounts could apply. Alnwick Gardens is not part of the National Trust. Enjoy your day out :-) More...

Beautiful ornamental gardens, maze and water features/sculptures, with tractors for toddlers to play on, fountains that captivated our little one until he got hit by one (my fault! ). The poison garden is highly recommended. Currently they have a treasure hunt for children to fill out as they explore as well More...

Water features are amazing and a fabulous experience when the main cascade comes on. A great day out and Tree House is amazing plus all of the staff are super friendly and very helpful. It's a children's paradise lots to do and see. The whole location has been so well planned and attention to detail is second to none.

Our family had an amazing day on Sunday. My children enjoyed the snow globe and ice skating before seeing the snow lion. The fish and chips were great as always. Great selection of Christmas gifts at the market as well as delicious foodie treats. Finished up with a game of mini golf too. Fantastic place - definitely worth getting the Friends of the garden yearly pass. More...

Had a great day out here with my two little guys and family. We didn’t go into the castle as it’s quite expensive to do both and I New my boys would prefer running about in the gardens instead. The gardens are beautiful and have changed so much since I first went when I was a teenager. There is so much to see and do and my boys were never bored. I’d probably go more often if we didn’t stay in Scotland, but if a drive for us but worth it More...

Ok to be honest I went for Harry Potter stuff at the castle to keep the kids quiet but I really enjoyed the day at the garden. It's been open a few years now so much of the planting is well established now. I missed out on the tree house due to lack of time but it looked amazing.

Go in the freezing cold frosty morning if you have a camera, amazing shots.

I was completely blown away by the whole experience, the beautiful entrance on arrival with the waterfall feature, the elegant sound of the young singers, and
the flowers were spectacular!
Swings to relax in, deck chairs in the park area, just beautiful to sit and watch and listen to the girls singing!
The Treehouse was just amazing..
I’ve Never seen anything quite like it..
I will have to visit again as it certainly had a very uplifting effect on me..
We had lunch in Alnwick town before going to the Gardens.. lovely picturesque little village..
Such a lovely day and to spend it with my family was just the best

Brilliant visit today with my 2 sons in glorious sunshine. The Summer Lion was mesmerising. A beautiful lifelike animal which kept my 2 sons enthralled up close and whilst we had a picnic on the green. A fun tour of the gardens finding all the giant's items amongst the colourful array of stunning flowers. Wet fun and squeals in the fountain park and the now traditional cycles of the treehouse wobbly bridges. More...
