I am quite obsessive about products and quality and it became abundantly clear from the offset that Welcome Home Interiors kitchen’s were using the highest quality components. Top of the range Blum drawers and hinges, Kesseböhmer storage units, Bushboard splash backs and the units were hand built in Scotland, for the range we chose. Coupled with that, and more importantly, although as I say I am obsessive about shiny things so mentioned that first! was the brilliant advice from Kaz, the onsite designer. No hard sell with Welcome Home Interiors and they’ll do as much or as little as is suitable for the customer. We used our own kitchen fitter and he said it was one of the best kitchens he has ever installed in terms of build quality, ease of installation and design and his pedigree was previously installing kitchens for John Lewis and Schüller. But it was the design from Kaz that really needs the most praise. He took us away from conventional and more into contemporary which much better suited both our house and style. As you would expect as an experienced kitchen planner he had a much better idea of what to put where, based on our loose plan and importantly stopped us from making a few design mistakes and explained and demonstrated why. He was also on hand during the installation to take calls from my team. The best money we have spent on the house refurb so far as we were going to go the conventional Wickes, Howdens kitchen route. So glad we didn’t. It cost more than the superstores, but a lot less than you would think. Amazing value for the specification of kitchen we have. More...

We had a large kitchen installation in December 2016.
Proprietor helpful during pre –order stage and gave some design ideas.
The kitchen units we now have are of good quality and have been installed reasonably well.
Major issues though with the electrics and to a lesser extent gas. We experienced several power outages over the Christmas period which was extremely difficult to deal with and worrying. We discovered that the kitchen fitters used were not qualified electricians and we were advised on inspection by a fully qualified electrician that they had not carried out the work correctly. The electrical installation was potentially dangerous. We had to have parts of it re-done.
Not willing to install our gas hob although we understood that they would do this. In the end we had to find a separate contractor at short notice.
No engagement/ownership from the proprietor once the work had commenced and he was not willing to take any responsibility for the issues we experienced or come even close to an apology.
Massively disappointing overall and we would not recommend this company at all.

Dear Mrs Pickerill, thank you for leaving your review. I am disappointed to read your comments as we have a vast amount of very happy customers. I am sorry for the inconvenience caused by the electrical issues that you had but they were rectified and we deducted these costs from your total invoice as you are aware. I would like to clarify that we were more than happy to install the gas hob as part of the installation, but I did make clear from the start it is not our responsibility to supply your property with gas. I am sorry for any confusion in this matter. I am very glad to hear that you are happy with the quality of the kitchen. Kind regards, Kaz

Q&As

The satisfaction from customers positive feedback, and overcoming the different types of challenges we can face on the sort of work we undertake.

I felt we could fill a gap in the market with our proposition. We can cover all our customers home improvement needs under one roof, offering as little or as much as the customer requires. No one locally offers the same quality, choice or flexibility that we can offer when it comes to kitchens and flooring.

We can take care of everything from the floor up so no need for customers to be running around and trying to manage their own projects, we offer to take full accountability for it. Even if it's supply only, you will still not get better value for money than from us. We ensure the customer receives the best quality product for their budget, whatever that may be. We spend as much time as is needed at the design stage in order to get every aspect just right,
