Shocking customer service.
I needed my iPhone 8 screen replaced I made a booking for them to come to my work, only for them to cancel that appointment due to no stock. I rebooked for them to come back only for them to turn up with a wrong coloured screen. I got them to fit the screen anyway as I was going away and needed the phone working. I even went and paid for a screen protector as I didn't want to damage the company's screen.I arranged for them to come back and fit the correct coloured screen witch they did. When I took the phone home I noticed thatthe phone was very clunky to use and the screen brightness was very low I had to set the screen to max also the screen didn't seem to fit very well in the bezel it was sitting very proud. I phoned them again
and rearrange for them to come back only for them to cancel that appointment due to stock again. They said they would come another day to fit it. So in the mean time with using the phone I found a crack had appeared on the screen I don't know how I got there maybe the screen was under pressure from poor fitting. They came to fix the phone again only to be told that it is not covered by the warranty because of the crack and I would have to pay again.
I am now going to get the phone independently tested.
WeFix – AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I have a Galaxy S8+ and its not a cheap phone so i booked the repair via the Samsung website in the hope that the repair would be done properly. However its not Samsung that carry out the repair, its WeFix who use self employed engineers that try to do the job as quickly and cheaply as possible. And when they dont carry out the repair properly they do what ever they can to get our of having to rectify their mistake.
In my case the left-hand side of the screen wasn't sealed properly. Its not very visible but when you press the screen it creaks. When you look closely there is a larger gap between the frame and screen on the left hand side. I complained and sent the repair center pictures. They agreed to come out and repair the phone again. Upon arrival the engineer noticed a chip on the frame which he said invalidates the warranty. I pointed out that the picture I sent 4 days before clearly shows no chip so any further damage that may have been done was not the cause of the gap between the screen and frame. When talking to their support center and escalating to Samsung you get a classic case of "computer says no"
Absolutely appalling service. You'd be better off going to a local repair shop. Will never use WeFix and will think seriously about switching back to IPhone next time around.
The real joke is that they then sent me a review link for Trustpilot, so I posted this. Then I get a reply within five minutes stating that the screen on my phone was cracked. Blatantly lying on Trustpilot. What a bunch of jokers Wefix are.
For anyone at Wefix reading or replying to this, please read carefully. You failed to repair the phone properly and you have photos taken straight after the repair was made showing no damage to the phone at all in any way shape or form, but you can clearly see the gap between the screen and frame where is wasn’t fixed properly.
Anyway every time I press the screen of my phone it now creaks and makes me think of these jokers at Wefix.
