What inspired you to start your own business?
It all started with a sewing machine in a one-bedroom flat in Notting Hill, watching my grandmother sew hats on her wooden table. This was my first experience of product development and branding and it was at that moment I learnt that every life has a purpose and I realised what mine was.
I have since worked really hard to develop my Brand Consultancy company and throughout my 16 years’ experience within fashion, PR and event management I have worked alongside a diverse range of people.
I began my career as a lingerie specialist for companies such as Harvey Nichols and Marks and Spencer and went on to develop my skills in events management whilst working as a probation officer where I successfully contributed to programmes aimed at reducing serious youth violence and empowering women. I have since planned and managed numerous corporate events for various charities not only in the UK but also across the globe.
I also had the amazing opportunity to work closely with fashion guru and photographer Lea McQueen and lent my consultation experience to photographer Carla Borel whose images have been featured in both Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.
During my journey I have come to realise that the possibilities are endless; let me share your journey with you!
