I loved working with Raina!!
I live in Houston, but Nashville is my hometown and I got married in Nashville. Planning a wedding from afar is difficult.
I started the process with minimal guidance... by the time I met Raina, I had already selected my caterer, photographer, videographer, wedding and reception venue, and DJ. I sure wish I had known her before doing all of that. She would have made things much easier and less stressful.
Raina was a referral from my florist. I knew Raina was exactly who I wanted to work with 5 minutes into the conversation. She has a calming spirit and is very resourceful. She quickly helped me find the rest of my vendors, and was always quick to pick up the phone or text whether she was answering questions I had or just checking in with me to make sure I was still sane. Lol
Raina is thoroughly prepared. She takes thorough notes and is always traveling with her binder so she can accurately address any concerns almost immediately.
Raina is also very talented. My step-dad passed and I wanted to do a tribute to him by having his blue handkerchief embroidered. The seamstress in Houston did it initially and did a horrible job. Three days before the wedding, I gave it to Raina and she did an amazing job with it overnight!
The entire ceremony started on time, ran smoothly, and every detail we requested, Raina and her crew were able to implement flawlessly.
It was an amazing experience and Raina was an incredible planner. My husband and I highly recommend her!

Raina’s excitement and attention to detail was clear within the first few minutes of our meeting, and her experience put much of my anxiety at ease. Our Sikh Indian wedding necessitated coordination across out of town vendors, last minute changes, and numerous course corrections. We hired Raina to be our month of coordinator and overall had a great experience working with her. She was extremely responsive to all of our questions whether email or text, so much so, we were always joking about when Raina found time to sleep. Also, Raina did a great job coordinating the vendor logistics for the day of the wedding. As with nature of day of coordinator, it was our responsibility to select and contract with all the vendors, but from there, Raina took lead on coordinating all logistics. We were able to be very hands off, which is what we were looking for. Then, for the actual wedding day, the execution was great. Everything went off without a hitch and we stayed on track with our timeline the entire night. In addition, our venue had a very tight time frame to get things set up, but Raina made sure everything was ready to go. She also hires two additional support staff for the day of the wedding, which was very helpful in making sure everything went smoothly. They were very professional, motivated, and accommodating. Raina came in and saved our day. We had a wedding planner for a year. We parted ways with the planner 3 weeks before our wedding. We were having an Indian American wedding. And had to start totally over with our t Mandap etc. Our hotel event manager set us up with Raina. And in 3 weeks she did more than the other planner did in a year. I can't express how thankful and happy we are to have found her and so last minute. She was our saving grace. Always with a smile and bubbly demeanor. And I swear she never sleeps because she was always answering our texts and emails at all different times through out the day. Raina works extremely hard. We contacted Raina (Wedding & Events by Raina) two weeks before our wedding, we are from Canada, and had decided last minute that we would get married when we flew to Nashville for the CMA Music Festival. Raina was the epitome of professional, not only did she respond to us immediately via email and a phone call, but she didn't make us feel like it was big deal that we wanted to get married in such a short time period. Raina asked if we had a venue in mind and we said we loved the Ryman Auditorium but we knew that it wasn't feasible, so we wanted to get married outside the Ryman. Two days after talking we received an email from Raina that she had tried to secure the Ryman for us but that it wasn't an option, BUT she had contacts in Nashville and Studio B said that they would love to have us; we would be the first wedding ever in Historic Studio B. It took us all of one second to say yes and contact Raina and tell her how amazing she was. Raina also offered up suggestions for a company to do flowers (which were amazing), and make-up and photos. Although we didn't use the vendors Raina suggested for make up and photos (we had already found the ones we wanted) we were so appreciative of the fact that she was going above and beyond - we hired Raina to simply perform the wedding ceremony yet she did everything she could to make sure our wedding was exactly as we envisioned it. When it came to our vows, we had the option of writing our own or Raina writing them for us, we decided because of the time crunch we felt we were under that we would have Raina write the vows; she had us fill out a form of questions about each other and she went from there. We felt like Raina had known us for years and had written vows that only we could have wrote for each other; they were beyond perfect. When the wedding day came, Raina showed up in a vintage pin up dress - she had asked us what we were wearing so that she didn't clash with us and we gave her a vague idea of our outfits as we hadn't quite decided (we ended up going with a rockabilly style) - it was perfect, it was like she had gone dress shopping with me! Raina was a dream come true and more than we could have ever asked for; at the end of our service she gave us the sweetest gift which was definitely not required - we felt like SHE was our gift. 5 stars just aren't enough to describe how fantastic we think that Raina and her team are!! We booked Raina over a year in advance of our wedding to be our day-of coordinator, but she was so much more than that. She checked in with us periodically about our planning and was always available via email/phone call/text to answer any questions and offer advice. We had hoped for an outdoor wedding, but a storm came through at the last minute, and we had to change our plans. This should have been stressful, but Raina took care of every detail and made sure that we had the most beautiful wedding. We hired Raina as our officiant and we are so glad we did! From our first FaceTime meeting she expressed genuine kindness and excited energy to be apart of our wedding and we felt that on our wedding day. After speaking with us she created a first draft of our script based on our interests and personality. We were able to modify the script as much as we liked to make it even more personal to us, and she assisted updating it as well for some ideas and themes we had in mind. Raina was always quick to repond to our messages and any questions we had, and was very professional and patient even when we didn’t always get back to her quickly due to our hectic schedules.
