What an amazing job done by Precious Maui Weddings to coordinate a wedding for folks half way around the world. Exceeded expectations on all fronts, including all hired parties (musician, photo, video, etc). Customer service was a clear priority when taking and receiving calls and emails. There was not one question left unanswered. Apart from the most beautiful scenery in the world, Deanne created a memorable experience for us and made sure that every second was captured in a photo and video from her choice of vendor, Marbelle Photography. The best part about choosing Precious Maui Weddings was the feeling of comfort and security while conducting business with a wedding planner abroad. There was not one second I felt I made the wrong choice or that money would be well spent elsewhere. Every dollar spent with this event planner translated to a memory well preserved. Deanne was great! She accommodated everything we asked for - and more! She made planning a wedding 5500 miles away a complete breeze. Anyone who is considering elopement - this is the way to go! Me & my husband got married in Wailea, Maui at Gannon’s and it was a absolute fairytale wedding. I had many extra details and Deanne made my visions all come to life! I had a PINTREST PERFECT wedding. Her recommendations for photographers, officiant, Venues, DJs, videographers were all amazing. Her calm and lovely spirit soothed any anxious bride nerves. She was a absolute pleasure to work with and my wedding exceeded my expectations in every single way. All of my guests (50 total) raved on and on about how beautiful and special my wedding was. We had a welcome party, which she gave great catering and rental suggestions as well as a Luau show the day after the wedding. She was fabulous. This review is long overdue. My husband and I got married in Maui a little over a month ago, and we couldn’t have been happier with Deanne as well as the other services provided for us. Living in California, and never having visited Maui before, we were a little nervous about how our wedding day would turn out. Deanne was fabulous to work with! She was very helpful and patient with me while we figured out all the details for my wedding on a beach in Maui. She was so nice in person as well and my wedding turned out perfect. When I was first looking at different wedding companies in Maui, I called a couple different places. One other place was so pushy and would not leave me alone. Then I saw the high satisfaction rating for Precious Maui weddings and now I know why!I really liked the different package options and how I could pick and choose different add-ons that I wanted. Our officiant, ukulele player, and photographer were all great too. Deanne gave very specific instructions on what we needed to do for our marriage license - which I found very helpful. 6/13/2018I started planning my destination wedding as soon as I got engaged on 10/27/2016. Since I live in Washington, I was skeptical hiring someone I had never met to assist me with my dream wedding. However, Deanne worked with me over the phone and through email for over a year to pull everything together and she was amazing! My wedding was small and was very casual but she still treated me like I was a priority client.I was also worried about my hair and makeup as I have had issues in the past with hair/makeup people not providing the look I was envisioning, but Cindy was so great my hair and makeup looked better than I ever could have expected. We had our own minister, but the photographer was also very efficient and sent us some perfect shots (I would share them here but I still need to finalize my selections). The flowers I added to my package were perfect too. One thing you should know if planning a destination wedding at a public beach - you cannot predict weather or control the people on the beach! I know first hand regarding the weather as there was thunder and lighting during our ceremony. At first I wished for sunny weather, but it all worked out as it cleared the beach, cooled me down, and made for some great photos! “We used Precious Maui Weddings for our wedding on Sunday May 27, 2018. We had our wedding in Kapalua, Maui & it was perfect.
We spent the last year planning everything and Deanne was with us every step of the way. Planning a destination wedding in Maui can be slightly challenging especially when you live on the east coast & have to deal with the time difference.
Deanne was very helpful with ideas & recommendations. If we had questions or concerns she was always reachable. Our package included the brides bouquet & we added 4 bridesmaids bouquets along with florals for the reception tables & ceremony arch. All the bouquets & florals were absolutely gorgeous, exactly what we discussed & exceeded our expectations. Our guests complimented all our flowers.
We obtained the ukulele player from Precious Maui Weddings. He sang requested songs for our ceremony, first dance & the groom & mother of the groom dance. He sang the songs amazingly & even learned 2 of the songs just to satisfy our requests.
The minister was also provided by Deanne & he was fantastic. Our guests complimented how genuine & sincere the minister was along with his charismatic personality.
The photographer was also hired through Deanne & I can't wait to see our wedding pictures. I'm sure our wedding photos will be perfect considering the photographer took his time placing everyone for the photos.
Deanne was an absolute pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a wedding planner who pays attention to details & wants to make sure their wedding day is truly stress free & exceeds their dreams. I hired Maui Precious Weddings (Deanne) for our wedding at the 5 Palms in Wailea. Our day was PERFECT! Deanne firstly is incredibly warm, kind, professional and gets back to you quickly. She handled all of my questions so well as we were planning our wedding from Canada. She secured an amazing musician, the best officiant, an awesome hair + makeup professional (I am picky) and a very talented photographer. My husband and I wanted a small intimate wedding on Maui in December 2017. Precious Maui Weddings was my first choice when seeking a destination wedding planner from way over in seattle, WA.
They not only had the best online reviews, but Deanne was a pleasure to talk to and work with!
I am a woman full of a million questions and wanting to make sure I have all the information before making decisions. Deanne was not only patient with me but super attentive, efficient and eased any anxiety I had before we arrived in Hawaii. She made sure all my appointments and "dealings" with wedding stuff on my trip was convenient to me and our activities.
Deanne was there when I arrived at our ceremony. She made sure I looked my best. She helped keep my guests in line, not that much was needed there :) and aided in my desire to keep the wedding intimate and request nothing be posted to social media. She was amazing! I could not have asked for a more smooth wedding day. There isn't enough rating to do my experience justice.
