I'm a little late doing this (sorry Phil!). we got married in December 2017 and booked Phil after trawling the internet and getting an awful lot of extortionate/very out of our budget quotes. We almost felt that Phil was too good to be true as we had a such a positive feeling about our wedding and the memories we would make through booking him. On the day, Phil and his second photographer made themselves at home very quickly and became very much a part of our wedding party. So many guests commented on how brilliant they both were and how much of a laugh they'd had both with photographs and with conversation too. We were speechless by the prints when they came through and continue to be so proud of them. Every person within the family, our friends and work colleagues have commented on how wonderful the photographs are and the memories captured are priceless. Hiring Phil was one of the best wedding decisions we made. Phil went out of his way to make us feel comfortable on the day, including meeting us twice before for coffees to get to know each other. This meant the day ran so smoothly as it felt like we had an extra friend there. We were initially drawn to Phil because of his candid shots, and looking over our photos now we can see that these are our favourites. Phil was absolutely fabulous all day, from the minute he arrived until way into the night. He felt like part of our wedding party and despite a whole day of rain he managed to keep us at ease and get some beautiful shots. He liaised amazingly with the venue and management to make sure the car could get in and out of the venue so we didn’t get wet - he honestly went above and beyond so that we could have the most perfect day. I could not recommend him enough and the teaser of photos we have received are amazing, can’t wait for the rest. Thank you so much for being part of our day - you were fab. Phil was a fantastic wedding photographer. He was so friendly and helpful and very much felt part of the day, as well as taking the best photos we could have asked for to capture the wedding.
So many of our guests have commented how brilliant the photographs are and how lovely Phil was to have around on the day.
We were both nervous about being in front of the camera but Phil made us feel at ease and the photos exceeded all of our expectations! He captured some amazing natural shots of people laughing, chatting and dancing and the special moments between family and friends.

Phil was fantastic with communication from start to finish and the photos he took were stunning. He took loads of the details as well as the formal shots we wanted plus lots of photos that people didn't even know he had taken which made them beautifully natural. We had quite a colourful wedding and Phil captured that in his photos and fantastic editing. We wanted a wedding photographer we could leave to photograph our day as it was in both its glory and normalcy, without having to keep posing or feeling like we were constantly on show. Phil was so unobtrusive we didn’t even notice he was there most of the time.

However, when we received the photos from our wedding day it was evident that he had been everywhere. He provided us with plenty of permanent reminders of the wonderful day we had had, and he had also captured many excellent moments that the two of us had not seen. Phil’s ability to take natural snapshots that radiate real emotions has given us a set of photographs we will truly treasure.

Excellent service all round.Me and my wife got married a couple of weeks ago and the photos that we were receives were brilliant. When you spend so much time and care making sure you have the perfect wedding you want to ensure that that the pictures reflect that. We asked Phil to photograph the baptism of our twin boys and the following lunch. He captured some excellent images in the church with great depth in both colour and black/white in low light. He was unobtrusive to the point that we almost forgot he was there. Phil captured the mood of our wedding beautifully. He has an incredible eye with excellent attention to detail. We had mixed weather, but Phil still managed to take amazing shots despite this.
