I can only speak in the highest regards for Warrington hospital staff, my dad has been in hospital for the last 4 weeks and is on a fast track home. My parents mentioned renewing their wedding vows to staff and they went above and beyond to put a package in place for them, and arranged everything for us too. They did an amazing job in an extremely short space of time and my parents had a day to remember and will have a lovely memory of such a special day. This would not have been possible without the lovely and amazing staff on ward A7 and management for okaying the package they provided. This was on top of their usual duties, yet every member of staff went out of their way to make sure my parents wishes were taken care of, and the day to day care of my dad and the other patients were always tended to. special thanks to Laura, Mel, Claire, John (the chaplain) and the two paramedics who first brought my dad in.....Paul and Titch, who went above and beyond their jobs to make sure they did everything possible to accommodate us, reassure us and provide an amazing level of care for my dad, but also my mum too. We honestly cannot thank all the staff enough, and we're so grateful to all on A7 and their management for giving my parents a day to remember. I'm pleased I got to see my mum and dad recreate their wedding day, and I could not speak more highly of all the staff on A7. Thank you all so much!!! From all The O'Day family xxx More...

The care given from the GP Assessment Unit yesterday & today was amazing, the nurses on this ward are the best I’ve come across. I got a quick diagnosis & treatment plan set in place. Sunday 29th. September,2019, I had to call 999.....I was feeling Terrible....The Ambulance arrived Very Quickly. The Paramedics were Exceptional. ...The Lady and Man Paramedics looked after me as though I were their Son... The man even CLEANED UP the Vomit that I had vomited on the Sitting Room Carpet and Bathroom floor !!!!!! They took me to the Emergency Unit at Warrington Hospital where I was cared for, until I was moved to The Frailty Unit at The Hospital. I wish to Make Clear, that I received The Most Treatment Ever Possible, in Any Hospital! !!!!!! I wish to Thank ALL of The Staff that were in ANY WAY Whatsoever, concerned in My Exceptional Treatment during my Stay at Warrington Hospital. I am Very Greatfull to All. Best Wishes. I took my son to A and E on sat night after he had cut his head open. The staff in the children’s A and E were amazing! We were seen really quickly and the cut was glued straightaway. He was really scared of going to the hospital but the nurse George was fantastic with him, she made him laugh and put him at ease. Can’t thank her enough she is a credit to the hospital and I hope she see’s this as would like to say thank you George. My son is not scared of the hospital now thanks to her. More...

Our beautiful grandson was looked after first by A&E junior doctors nurses and consultants and then on the children’s ward after a severe bout of seizures on Sunday afternoon what an absolutely amazing team the whole family were kept updated and spent the whole time with Declan thank you so much from the bottom of my heart because without this great team the outcome could have been very different special thanks to Andy consultant anaesthetist and his ST3 and Jo A&E senior nurse ♥️ xx Declan is doing very well at home now thanks xx

i had my baby here by c section on the 3rd sept 2019 from entering the ward c23 to leaving i was treated with great care and can't speak highly enough of the staff genuine caring people who helped me recover so well i highly recommend this hospital and the staff thank you

I went into the hospital on Monday the 9/9/2019,for big surgery,i was on ward C20 Ground floor Croft Wing .I had fantastic care from all the staff,my stay was made really comfortable and I was very emotional every one did everything for me and helped me cope with the situation I found myself in. My son Ronnie 9 was in for an Operation Monday 9th September everything went smoothly all the staff were absolutely fantastic. Later that day we were discharged and an hour after being at home my elder Son Alfie developed a non blanching rash and we was taken to hospital via an ambulance as it was feared he had suspected meningitis. the Paramedics started treatment straight away and we was taken straight into A&E pediatrics where all the staff cared and treated Alfie and made him feel as ease. including myself. explained everything to us that they were doing. Alfie was admitted to the childrens ward and today we got discharged. thankfully the rash was not meningitis but an unexplained non blanching rash. The doctors did loads of tests and all came back clear I cannot thank all the staff at Warrington Hospital enough for everything they have done for both Alfie & Ronnie this past week and I was well looked after too! I haven't been to the hospital for treatment but I have spoke on a few occasions to the appointments line, and I can honestly say they are the best in the 3 other hospitals I have delt with. They are Very helpful, friendly,and a pleasure to deal with, they are not miserable or make you feel uncomfortable when you ring. Today I had the pleasure of dealing with Jess who kept me informed while placing me on hold and helped me re book a appointment easily. On other occasions when I have spoke to others on the line they are very pleasant. Keep up the good work appointments team, i dont dread the miserable tone when I call!!Thanks again More...

After bad experience in the past I was dreading being back at Warrington as I usually carry on to Alder hey but had no choice when my little girl got rushed in on Wednesday. She had suffered a convulsion and came out in a non blanching rash. The staff in A&E were fantastic I can't remember the nurses names but the HCA tulisa was amazing. They all worked so hard. They were very understaffed for a busy department but all did a fantastic job. We then got moved to the children's ward where we stayed for 2 nights and I can't fault the care we received. Amazing staff at minor injuries. Saw my husband super quickly and got us sorted with as little fuss as possible. Staff nurse Trevor was outstanding and made a rather scary morning seem so much better. Love the NHS. Thankyou.

Warrington is a very large town and the current hospital is really nor fit for purpose. I hate my husband going in . A&E offers a good level of service. Care may be slow during busy times, but all levels of staff work well and have the paitent at the centre of everything they do A1 / AMU is also very busy. Some nursing staff are blunt and don't appear to care. It is not difficult to call a family member. (The call could be made by a student or ward clerk). On this admission my husband spent 7 nights on A8. A8 is a very busy ward . All staff work very hard. There never seems to be enough staff. Just spent a couple of days on C20. Staff run off their feet but remained smiling, they really worked for their money. A lot of moving of patients due to decorating but remained safe at all times. I was very happy to see the ward manager and matron getting stuck in when all the patients needed moving so that the nursing staff could continue with their medicine round duties. Overall I left very satisfied with my surgery and cant compliment the staff enough. I enjoyed my little NHS 2 day holiday. Keep up the good work. Xx More...
