Brian and his team were a dream come true! I gave my mom, whose yard and gutters were buried in leaves, the gift of Wave's cleaning services this holiday season and I can't say enough great things about the experience. Brian worked within my budget, was so responsive and accommodating, and his team was able to perform the service the same day I called for it! My mom couldn't be more relieved, happier or more grateful. She sent updates on how hard the team worked as well as before and after photos to emphasize what an incredible job they did. After demolishing an old porch structure, we needed a professional to design and landscape our back and side yards. My husband and I are both avid gardeners and we wanted a design that would create new garden spaces to and complement the look of the house. Concerning for us was that much of ground consisted of packed clay and debris that drained poorly and needed to be excavated and amended prior to walkway installation. Wave Outdoors responded quickly to our request for an estimate and provided stellar customer service throughout all stages of the project. The owner, Brian, listened carefully to our requests and expectations. We were especially impressed by Brian's keen design sensibility, knowledge of native plants, and enthusiasm for the project. Brian presented us with two professional-looking plans, both of which cleverly addressed the problem areas in the yard using existing materials (flagstones, plants, etc.) and, most importantly, stayed within our modest budget - which was not easy given the long list of things we wanted accomplished. With only short notice, Brian worked our project into his busy Spring schedule. The landscaping team was courteous, professional, and incredibly hard-working. A project that easily could have taken four days was completed in half the time. The landscaping team exceeded our expectations in terms of identifying problems and solutions that arose during the actual construction. For example, the team demolished and removed three buried concrete pillars that were found only after construction had started. Moreover, the worksite was kept clean and orderly throughout the day and we received zero complaints about noise or equipment from the neighbors. Brian made regular inspections throughout the day to answer our questions and ensure that things went smoothly. Another factor leading us to recommend Wave Outdoors was the craftsmanship and quality construction materials that were used. For example, the walkways form an even and continuous plane and stepping stones fit snugly. The grass sod, compost, and mulch that were brought in appear to be well-sourced and very high-quality. The final landscape is aesthetic and provides excellent drainage away from the house, a beautiful new walkway, and adjacent garden beds that are already attracting pollinators. We were looking for a company to re-do our entire backyard, including a new back patio complete with a seat wall and fire pit, artificial turf and new landscaping. We interviewed several companies before making our final decision. I cannot say enough good things about Brian from Wave Outdoors, especially during the initial planning stages. He provided several detailed 3-D renderings of the project and updated them almost immediately without the slightest hesitation, after each change we made. This kind of professionalism and willingness to accommodate clients seems rare in this day in age. I have nothing but positive things to say about Brian and Wave.First, Brian is incredibly responsive and patient. It is clear that he values his customers. I sent over 10 texts while planning this project and Brian responded to each one. He was also responsive over email and his PandaDoc system is a great way of seeing the project online so there can be no confusion. He is honest about pricing and outlines the many different options that the customer has. I never once felt like I was being up sold or pressured into adding more cost to the project. In fact, Brian recommended a lower cost option for me. A silly added bonus? If your dog gets out of the yard during the meeting, he'll help you wrangle her back home. Those small things matter.Oh, yeah, the work was amazing. Lupe and his team were early, incredibly friendly, triple checked that we were all in the same page, and then did really detailed work though it was a blustery, 40° degree, cloudy day. We couldn't be happier and plan on using Wave for all of our future landscape projects. In fact, I've already asked Brian to think about fall planting/hardscaping and 2020 spring planting. More...
