I had the pleasure of being a bridesmaid in a family members wedding this past weekend. Let me say that whatever they paid was worth EVERY PENNY! The rehearsal and rehearsal dinner were on location and Mrs. Anita (the planner and coordinator for the venue) was on point. She was polite, professional, knowledgeable and made the entire weekend experience (from set up to the very end of the reception) go seamless and perfect. The food was excellent. Every person on staff that we came into contact with was polite and went the extra mile. Even the bar tender(s) were amazing. At one time there was a line at the bar and another person came up to help the guest. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The ceremony was at 5:30 and the sun was starting to set (mid October) and the view was an open field of perfection. There is not a single negative thing I could say about the venue or about every one involved in making the weekend happen. Again, if you’re looking at this place and are debating using their planned/coordinator Mrs. Anita, just go ahead and do it. She is one of the key reasons why the weekend went so smoothly- yes, the entire weekend, from early Friday set up, rehearsal and the dinner, ALL DAY Saturday and even helped break things down on Sunday morning. Beautiful facility, perfect for weddings, but also for other events. We held a girls night out fundraising event here, for childhood cancer research, and it was a huge success. Lisa was very accommodating. We had to do very little decorating, which was one of the main reasons we chose this location. I would highly recommend The Waters Edge for your event. More...
