Had Christmas meal there with work colleagues, about 30 of us, it was well marshalled, staff were friendly and always time for a chat. A very busy Saturday night before Christmas, lots of laughter and other parties having a good night. Food was hot and good quality, very tasty. Introduced to this restaurant by a friend. We had a lovely meal served by attentive staff. The ambience was calm and friendly. Decorated in an eclectic contemporary style. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Parking is possibly tricky at busy times but we'd gone late in the evening on a Wednesday so that wasn't an issue. I’m quite fussy when it comes to eating out, and was not expecting to be as impressed as I was by a lovely Sunday lunch here with my dad for his birthday.

The service was attentive, polite and all the food arrived in good time and perfectly prepared.

My dad enjoyed ‘bang bang’ prawns, which he gave 95 out of 100 points (he’s as fussy as me and 86 years old, so this is high praise indeed!)

I had a delicious pea soup followed by a tasty and attractive dish of sea bass, new potatoes, samphire and mouthwatering purees of beetroot and parsnip.

My dad’s sirloin scored a respectable 80 points. And we shared a delightful creme brûlée to finish.

We each had a large glass of the house white, and I had a coffee. It came to just over £50, which I think is very good value for money.

I’ve eaten at Waterfront Bar Bistro on many occasions, it is always a winner and the 3 course Saturday lunch we had this time delivered yet again.
The service was friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. We had intended to have just one course but couldn’t resist all three courses as it was so tempting! The star dish had to be the steak sandwich which my friend ordered - it was a huge amount of steak, perfectly cooked.
I’ve never had a bad meal there and it’s a fab location on the marina, I’m looking forward to lunch sat outside there in summer again! More...

I have always enjoyed our family visits to the Waterfront Bistro. Friendly staff and great food. Service was a little slow on our last visit but everything else up to expectations. Overall a fantastic place to eat.

An amazing experience from beginning to end. A busy Saturday night, we hadn't booked and it was getting towards the end of food orders but instead of turning us away, we were made to feel like nothing was too much trouble. A table became free and we were sat down within a few minutes. The food was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. The staff were friendly, professional and attentive. One of the best meals I've had in a long time. The food was beautifully presented and delicious, well done Chefs.

I went for the set menu which I thought was extremely reasonable for the food provided.
