Really happy I chose to hold my wedding at the Water Conservation Garden. Heather and Angela were great at coordination and really flexible and patient with my million questions! The Water Conservation does have some particular rules to work around, being a non-profit open to the public, when it comes to holding events there, but they make those clear before you sign anything and really did an amazing job making everything work out in the end! Thanks so much Heather and Angela!! More...

I've been here a few times with my kids, ages 1 and 3. It's very kid friendly. Lots of hands on exhibits and room to run around. They have a children's play area in the back which is super cute. It has a little house and sand pit with toys. We also love the amphitheater where the kids can run around on stage. The sensory garden and fairy garden are fun, and even the compost exhibit is fun. This place is great to come to when the kids need to get some energy out and you're up for a little walking, maybe some sitting lol. The place is stroller friendly, even though the paths are dirt. I've never been on the weekend so not sure how crowded it gets then but there's barely anyone during the week except for other moms with kids. We usually bring our lunch since there's plenty of nice places to sit and eat. They have a small parking lot and if it gets full, you can park anywhere, except in red areas. Dirt lot is open too.I wish they had more activities for kids, maybe once a month. I would even be willing to pay a few $$ for it - storytime, music n motion, hands on gardening, etc. But overall, we love this place. More...

We had a small, intimate ceremony with family at the gazebo, and it was the perfect setting. All the foliage surrounding it really emphasized the intimacy of the event. The staff were also all very helpful and accommodating. The plants around the rest of the garden also provided the perfect backdrop for all our photos. More...

Great place to take your little ones and walk around. It's free but they do take donations. They have a nice dino themed little kids area with a sand box, facts about dinos, and a cute little wooden playhouse. They have a sensory garden where the kids can touch and smell plants, gazeboos, butterfly pavilion, aond great info on how to have a water friendly garden. They also have a scavenger hunt they can do and they get a little prize at the end. Great place to go with your littles for sure. More...

The WCG is absolutely beautiful, which is the main reason we booked them as our wedding venue. But aside from its looks, WCG is non-profit, an education facility, allows outside vendors, only hosts one event per day, allows dogs, is reasonably priced and has Heather (who is beyond amazing to work with). All our guests were amazed at the beauty and charm of the Garden and what a gem it is to find. We are so lucky to have WCG as our venue but even luckier that it is open to the public so we can visit it anytime. It also provides classes to care for our yards, learn about planting water wise trees, flowers, etc. It's simply a great place. More...
