First time poster, but I felt I needed to say a good word about our realtor, Steve Sallion of Warren Lewis. After months of searching for a new place, and feeling ripped off by a bunch of amateur realtors. We had already lost so much money on apps and deposits and were really feeling discouraged about apartment hunting. Steve came in and really put us at ease.From start to finish, he made sure we were represented in the best light, and gave us hope as freelancers that we could live and still enjoy New York. Apartment hunting in Park Slope is a daunting experience. Navigating the area and finding the right space was made so much easier with the help of Emilia Aguilar from Warren Lewis.  Her attitude was amazing, she knows the area, the clientele  and how to maneuver her way through the mess other agents leave behind. First thing, Â Â Â Â This is my first yelp review ever. And it's not a restaurant. It's because I've never had or wanted to take the time to write a review on foodie places I've gone. Lazy.. But for this office including owners( Jose and wife) to agents (Deborah and Debbi) I'll write a full report.. As they exceeded my expectations. They really had a plan and they had the contacts to get the ball rolling....They helped stage my unit with their props including moving it to my place..!!! They didn't care I had avg priced coop in Kensington .. Took great photos..this agency will not disappoint is my point.. Ala was our broker and did a great job getting us into an apartment that is just right for our needs. Â She was very responsive and handled our application very quickly through a complicated co-op sublet process. Warren Lewis seems to have pretty good exclusive listings for Park Slope, which is what kept us coming back to Ala. I worked with Ala and Wassim during my recent apartment search in Brooklyn, and while I did not end up renting an apartment through them, I just wanted to write about my experience because it appears to have been quite different from that of some of the other reviewers. Ala texted me about an apartment that was within my budget as soon as it came in, and well before it was posted online. Both Ala and Wassim were present at the viewing, they were both very friendly and courteous and they went out of their way to get all my questions answered on the spot. The landlord lived in the building and Ala noted my questions, knocked on his door, spoke to him and brought back his replies to me. I am not the sort of person who makes snap judgments and took my time wandering through the apartment trying to get the feel for whether it was right for me. But at no point did they make me feel rushed. In fact they were too polite to tell me to get a move on even though (as I found out later) they had to leave for another appointment in a neighboring area immediately after. Ultimately, I passed on the apartment they'd shown me and then discovered my current apartment through another source. So its true that they didn't work with me very extensively and I didn't actually rent through them. But for what its worth I have no complaints and was very satisfied with my entire experience with them. More...

I also can't belive some of these negative reviews! My girlfriend and I recently rented a 1BR apartment in Prospect Heights with Wassim Fakhereddine and we were extremely pleased with the service we received. He was very gracious to us, ensuring we felt comfortable with the apartment before moving forward and not applying ANY pressure to us to make a decision. He also was just a really friendly guy -- three days after seeing the apartment I was on a run in Park Slope and there was Wassim with his wife! I regularly use Wassim Fakhereddine to help me rent my apartments. Wassim did an excellent and quick job checking out the prospective tenants. Wassim Fakhereddine is amazing! After going to 3 brokers in the past weeks and having several apartments fall through, I was at my limit. I called him from an internet posting and he contacted me back immediately. After seeing the apartment (which was an incredible steal in south slope) he negotiated the deal with the super and LL before even racing back to the office to beat out the slew of other potential renters. Only a half hour later we had a signed lease and walked out of his beautiful office completely gitty. He makes renting an apartment in NY seem easy, seriously.
