The Winemakers Grill at Wapato Point Cellars is a fantastic restaurant offering top notch service and food. Booked a reservation for the Prime Rib Special night. I had the baked potato with all the fixings and my partner had the mashed potatoes as a side. The beef was done perfectly and was a pretty hefty serving size. The au jus and horseradish were flavourful. The Red Delicious wine went perfectly with it. Our server was efficient, attentive and informative. The bread basket at the start of the meal was a pleasant surprise. The pianist added to the ambiance. Only wish we had room for dessert. On a side note we also stopped in at the tasting room for a free wine tasting. This is how we stumbled upon the Restaurant and then booked a return visit to it. Very tasty wines and friendly pourers! We have had very good meals here. very convenient location in Manson . if you are staying at Wapato Point you can walk there . Has a gift store and large area in the back that has play equipment for kids on a big lawn for them to run around and a lovely vine covered patio to enjoy your wine in warm weather. Very good food and excellent service and wine. I had the fig and balsamic reduction chicken and risotto. It was delicious and a generous portion. It is our 24 anniversary everything was perfect the atmosphere the piano, the service and the food. Had the opportunity to dine here on our last night in the Lake Chelan area, and clearly we saved the best for last! The setting was beautiful and the meal was fabulous! I had the Steak Diane over Risotto and my husband had the Pasta Bolognese. Even our kids meals were delicious and I love the fact that they have a steak option for the little ones instead of the options typical of a kid's menu. We had an excellent meal here tonight. The chicken piccata and ribeye steak are highly recommended. The only slight issues was that they do not take reservations. We got lucky and were able to be seated fairly quickly after we arrived, but they said that there would be a 30-45 minute wait just after we sat down. Service was quick, professional, knowledgeable. Food was well prepared, fresh, delicious. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because the live music was a bummer. Its a shame, it was an otherwise good experience. Also we sat outside to escape the music but there were speakers outside. Also there was a large group laughing like hyenas all night. And unfortinately there was not any quite places to sit. If you are looking to quiet and romantic, this only fits half the bill. More...
