Truly nothing competes with the wondering donkey. The menu can't get any better! But my favorite is Hands down carne asada burrito � addicted and always going back! Five stars all the way!

My husband and I hired Wandering Donkey for our outdoor wedding. One month before the ceremony, we discovered that our venue didn't allow food trucks. Beth and Lance were incredible to work with. They ended up catering our wedding with a buffet set up for no additional charge. They quietly slipped in and set everything up beautifully and then slipped out. Of course we would have loved to have the truck, but the buffet turned out really well. We got so many complements on the AMAZING food. The way they thoughtfully arranged everything made it very clear to our guests what their options were (tacos vs burrito bowls, different meat and topping selections etc.). Also the warmers kept the food warm and delicious for our guests that came back for seconds and thirds. There was an appropriate amount of each type of meat and toppings. I added this on Instagram but forgot to put it here. Wandering Donkey says they're like Chipotle on wheels. I don't like Chipotle but this truck is A to the mazing! Carne asada so delicious and flavorful it made you want to sing in spanish. Everything tastes fresh like it came straight from the farm to your plate. And Mr Lance who could sell ice water to Eskimos had us ready to buy everything off of the truck. Their service and yummy menu are one the best we've had at a food truck fest or even a restaurant. We used Wandering Donkey and their sister truck, Grilled Addiction, for my sister's wedding 2 weeks ago. EVERYONE loved it! It was such a delicious alternative to the usual boring cold reception meal. Our guests were thrilled to be able to order a burrito, bowl or taco from Wandering Donkey or a hamburger from Grilled Addiction. Thanks so much to Lance, Beth and the food truck cooks! I have just approached Wandering Donkey. Immediately greated by the owner himself, explaining the magic behind his wonderful creations. "His goal is to make his customers happy," quoted by himself. The energy even before trying the food was just outstanding. I'm about to try this mezmorizing smell and look for the first time....let's see how it goes...wow just amazing. Can't beat fresh, homemade, and caring employees..you just can't. You gotta try it! I was in town for the Cardinals vs Jets game and stumbled upon this food truck. Can I just tell you how fabulous their food is? Everything is fresh and grilled to perfection. So, this food was absolutely amazing. I don't eat meat, so I ordered carne asada fries and swapped the meat for black beans. Everyone was super nice which I loved, but the moment I bit into a fry, I knew I was in for an experience. The flavors were amazing, the fries could not have been more perfect. Had the chance to try the Wandering Donkey at the Olive Mill Garlic Festival and it was amazing. My wife had the Pollo Bowl and I had the Lamb Barbacoa bowl. Just had the veggie bowl here at olive mill garlic fest. This truck is great. The guy who runs it and His wife are great people. Just met both of them today. They have large portions for the money. In my recent visit to Arizona I stumbled upon Wandering Donkey and was amazed with the food. Having some of the best food trucks here in Chicago, I was not sure if my tastebuds would be satisfied. I don't typically go to food trucks, but I had the opportunity to go to Wandering Donkey at the University of Phoenix Stadium this today and I was not disappointed. Wandering Donkey is basically "Chipotle on Wheels on Steroids". The set up is just like a burrito shop wherein you can order the meat, put on your condiments and then you are good to go.
