I used Anna recently whilst we went away to look after my cat Twinkle, usually I rely on family or neighbours so this was a first for me but definitely won’t be a last! She visited beforehand to have a chat and meet us and Twinkle, kept me informed whilst I was away via text. She also fed and watered my parrot! Such a lovely lady who provides a fantastic service. Loving and trustworthy are just two ways to describe these animal lovers. Heather and Anna-Marie are truly special. They have shown such care to my dogs. My Doug can be a troublesome with other dogs and the patience and care that Heather shows in walking him is so fantastic. We are so lucky to have them. We have had Anna&Heather walking our dog for over a year and they are very reliable rain or snow! Our dog loves them and it is the perfect for her to have a mid day walk while we work. We come home to a very happy relaxed dog! They are both very experienced which is reassuring, our pup can be hit and miss with the recall so they went out of their way to keep her on the lead as requested and have lots of patience with her :) couldn't recommend them enough! I have had Anna & Heather supporting me for the past 8 years, with both cat sitting and dog walking. Alas my cat is no longer with me, but Daisy my Labrador has walked 5 days a week with them for the past 8 years. I trust them implicitly with Daisy, and know that she is well looked after and cared for. Quite simply I have no hesitation in recommending Heather and Anna.
Finding someone else to walk Meg was a huge deal for me, but I am a great believer in trusting my dog’s instincts, I needn’t have worried. I have never had my pets looked after by this couple but when ever I have visited, quite often unannounced, I have found their attitude to their line of work to be exemplary. They are most loving and diligent to the requirements of looking after their own and other peoples dogs and cats. This is the first time we’ve ever used a cat feeding service, usually relying on family or friends. I had no reason to be worried. Anna and Heather were so professional and I would highly recommend. The lovely ladies from Walking-the-dogs have been taking our very excitable, dreadfully licky but quite adorable dog for lunchtime walks since she was just a couple of months old. Harley totally loves her time with Anna or Heather and if we happen to spot them out and about in their van on the days they don’t come she can barely contain herself! The homemade dog treats go down a storm on walks and the fact that Anna and Heather create lovely presents of these for their charges at Christmas is a lovely touch! We also appreciate the advice and guidance that Anna and Heather willingly share given their knowledge and experience. We really feel that they look after the dogs they walk as if they are their own.

We have also used their Sitting-the-cats service for our very nervous cat when we go away as we know he would hate a cattery. The texts to let us know how he is doing really help us relax knowing all is well. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this very professional and reliable team. More...
