At Walkies With Una we offer 1;1 dog training for you and your dog and encourage household family to join. We have a team of dog walkers who walk dogs in small groups of up to 3 dogs, solo walks, pet sitting and pop in visits. Run by a dog trainer experienced with a wide range of behaviours, we are able to offer a wide range of canine services and support.

Una is so great with our rescue greyhound. He wasn't used to other dogs and she slowly and patiently introduced him to his walking partners to check they got on, and has given us great tips on how to help socialise him. So before una got her paper qualification I had the pleasure of meeting her and her family and her fur babies at a very anxious time in my life. Her dog was so well behaved around my children and my children adored her, I found that the time I spent with una and her variety of animals was healing me and my pain. Una you didnt need that bit of paper your a fantastic woman who doesn't judge gives clear advice and is a world of knowledge when it comes to animals and humans. Being a first time dog/beagle owner, I found Una via Facebook. Una came over for a consultation and taught us many things, not just how to train our beagle but also on house rules, food, grooming and how to bond with our beagle. Through Una's positive reinforcement training and techniques we have seen a huge improvement in our Benson. As Benson grew we experienced a change in his behaviour which we had explained to Una and she not only showed us techniques on how to overcome the issue but also explained to us why he is doing what he does. Having followed Una's techniques Benson has improved massively and I couldn't be happier. Una teaches you as a handler as well as teaching your dog. My boy Archie is a lovely but excitable border terrier and he is so friendly but his excitement isn’t always reciprocated by other dogs. So we needed someone to walk him who really understood his traits and was willing to carry on his training. Una was recommended on Waltham Forest for dogs and she has been amazing with him. She completely gets him and his little excited outbursts, she just gets dogs in general. Una is firstly lovely! Always has plenty of ideas to tackle any unwanted behaviour or issues you're having with you dog.
Some things are really simple but creative and others are things that I've not seen before.

Love walkies with Una, genuinely cares about the dogs and all animals, I have four dogs and could leave all of them with Una in an emergency knowing they're 100% safe and I could relax.
Where can you leave four dogs. one that is very nervous and the other one that's so unpredictable I would worry leaving her with any other dog walker as you can't work her out but Una listens to the owners.
Very patient groomer too and will split grooming into two visits if my dog is tired and getting stressed out. Wish my hairdresser would do that �

Daisy looks, feels and smells beautiful. Thank you very much for explaining nail care and how you will gradually train her quicks to recede so that her nails can over time become shorter meaning we don't hear the tapping. Una is working wonders with our Penny! Never thought I would be able to open the front door and not have Penny barking! Seeing her enjoying herself over the field and not barking at people walking passed or too scared to move is making walks so more enjoyable for both of us!

Would highly recommend. Have brought in a rescue where I already had a 3 year old Labrador. Our 2 year old crazy chocolate Labrador Reggie was a handful to say the least. We asked Una to help us “tame the beast” 3 weeks ago and he is like a different dog! What do you love most about your job?
Teaching clients and dogs how to effectively communicate with one another. Seeing the joy in clients faces when they are able to do achieve their goals and the happiness of the dogs now that their lives are more harmonious.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having people regularly comment on my own dog. Her personality and hearing people saying "I wish my dog would do that".
Why should our clients choose you?
I am a dog trainer and behaviour consultant who is not only experienced but also have numerous qualifications in this field. All can be seen on the website. Canine training, behaviour, scent work. We have various different options available and these are either online courses for you to complete in your own time or we offer 1:1 lessons also. We provide dog walking with a difference. All of our team have numerous qualifications and experience with dogs of different abilities, skills and personalities. Our focus is on the dogs happiness and what they are learning from their walk.
