Wagtastic Pet Care Services locationBranston, Lincolnshire

I have always owned dogs, and became a professional pet carer in 2008.
In 2013 I decided to set up my own company, offering dog walking, cat care, small animal boarding, and home boarding for dogs.
I live in a village just outside of Lincoln, with my teenage son. I generally offer dog walking services around the LN4 area of Lincoln.
For Home Boarding I like to offer a free consultation, where you'd come to my home with your dog, and we can meet in person, I can create your care plan and take all of your details, then if you'd like to go ahead with the booking, I invite your dog to my home for a free overnight trial to make sure he/she settles in well. I know it can be quire daunting for a family pet staying in a strange home for the first time, away from his/her owners.
I regret that I cannot board dogs who are on the dangerous dogs list, reactive dogs, or dogs who do not like children. All dogs must be well socialised, and fully house trained. Their vaccinations must also be up to date.

Review of Wagtastic Pet Care Services by Charlotte Hill
2 weeks ago

Absolutely awesome service, Ruth went round to look after my mums cats and dogs on her wedding day and took the extra worry about our furry babies off my mums mind on such an important occasion! We received photos of each pet enjoying their dinner and some more of them having cuddles/belly rubs; they all looked relaxed, happy and well cared for and we trust that they were in very good hands. When we returned home we found the house securely locked and everything was in its place, therefore we trust Ruth completely on our property. It is evident that Ruth has a passion and genuine love for animals and we are confident that all of our pets felt the benefits of this. We will be using her services again in the future and would recommend her to anyone who needs their small/big furry babies looking after or walking. Thanks a million!

Wagtastic Pet Care Services Q&A

Company Q&A

What do you love most about your job?

I love the greeting when I arrive at someone's house to walk their dog. Their tails wag uncontrollably! They are so excited.
I love being outdoors, letting the dogs off lead to run and play ball. Some dogs aren't allowed off lead though so it's also nice to have a leisurely stroll with them, so they can have a good sniff along the way.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I have always loved animals and always owned a dog, up until 2014 when my Westie passed away.
I had always wanted to work with animals and volunteered at a local kennel on a Saturday whilst still at school, then a local pet shop, then into adult age i volunteered at the RSPCA as a home visitor.
I began working as a professional pet carer in 2008, and set up my own business in 2013.

Why should our clients choose you?

The care I provide is second to none. I am very reliable and trust worthy and have never let a client down.
I also like to offer variety. I can walk 2-3 dogs together off lead, somewhere they'll love playing, or I can walk your dog on a one to one basis. It really all depends on your requirements. I can offer beach days in the summer, and wooded walks in the winter.
Whatever the client would like, this can be discussed further.
