Vital roofing

I initially found that the roofer was ok but realised that they employ overly predatory sales tactics.
The initial job was replacing ridge tiles and a concrete gulley. Once the ridge tiles had been removed, I was told that there were issues with the felt - which the job would end up being 5x more than initially quoted
A middle ground was found - and the work thus far appears satisfactory with a few issues:
- At multiple points throughout the job I had to point out damage made by them - even though it had been walked past multiple times a day. Namely a wall and floor gutter had been cracked open. As opposed to telling me about it immediately I had to call them after hours to point this out.
- At the end of the job I inspected the loft space, where the boiler flue had been broken off and carbon monoxide was pumping into the loft space.
I was told the cost of repairs would be covered but I bear issue with the risk to life if I had not inspected the loft space post the work completion. More...
