Mayra is a great trainer. She is knowledgeable and has plenty of different exercises to keep your workout fresh. She travels with all the equipment you need, which makes it possible for you to workout in your own home even if you don't have much space or any equipment. Mayra is an incredible trainer and is truly invested in her clients' health, goals and success. She has a great attitude and energy which keeps me motivated and engaged during our workouts, which is a huge factor in the success we have had so far. As someone with chronic neck pain from a sports injury, it took a lot of physical therapy to realize that staying in shape was really important to minimize daily pain. I have never been one to be able to get myself to the gym, and the convenience of having her come to me to for our sessions removes all of the hassle and leaves no excuses. She is always mindful of my limitations, and pays close attention to form in order to avoid strain or injury. Our training sessions are never repetitive and she is constantly arriving with new methods, tools or exercises to build strength while keeping things fresh and interesting. I have worked with her for over a year and she certainly produces results - Both my peers and myself can see the transformation and more importantly, I feel great. I have less aches and pains, I have more energy, and feel healthier. Mayra is the total package, and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone inquiring. More...

Mayra trained my husband and I for about 8 months before we very sadly had to move cities. Both my husband and I have longstanding injuries (back and knee) and Mayra took the time and care to understand our limits and didn't push us beyond these. In saying that though, as time progressed and we became stronger we both found that we could achieve more than we ever expected to achieve and we easily pushed past our perceived limits. Mayra always changed up her workouts so we never got bored, and she incorporated a lot of different and fun exercises that we weren't familiar with. Mayra herself is a fun and energetic person to be around, she made the 6am starts easy to deal with, she was always punctual and accommodated our time schedule. All in all, we left San Francisco with greater confidence in our bodies and a wealth of knowledge that has helped us keep training in our new city. More...

I love working out with Mayra! I've worked with other trainers before, and she did a great job of encouraging me (not forcing me past my limits), listening and understanding my needs (I have a bad back, knees, hips, AND wrists!), and she is really fun and positive to be around. I'm not a huge fan of working out, but I really enjoy my workouts with her. We've worked out in my apartment when the weather was bad, and she brings everything needed and I learned a lot of new exercises I can do on my own. When the weather is nice, we pick a park. She's helped me gain confidence with exercising. I've always felt that my form was a little off, and her guidance has made a huge difference for my body and has helped alleviate a lot of the pain I was having before from doing exercises incorrectly. I'm really glad that I found Mayra! It's been a life changing experience! I've never been really into working out hard, because I am a Yoga teacher and very concerned about being injured.
