Loved the tour! Amazing guide (Jeff) who was a great storyteller and interactive. The tour took us into one of the colleges (cost included in the package) and showed us important landmarks in the area. It was great that they only take around 10 people a tour which was perfect. Peter gave me and my family a wonderful Harry Potter Film Locations Tour of Oxford, including Christchurch. We saw some very interesting buildings and objects, and learned not just about Harry Potter filming locations, but also about the history of Oxford. Peter gave us a lot of great information and was very patient with my highly inquisitive 9 year old son, as well as with my 3 and 6 year olds.

We got extra time on our tour and then Peter offered everyone a 15% discount at a great bookshop (largest one in Europe). He walked my family to an amazing pizzeria afterwards and then waited for us to finish so that he could walk us to the closest Oxford Tube stop. Took the afternoon tour yesterday with Laura as our guide. She was fabulous! Entertaining, knowledgeable, upbeat and had lots of facts not only about Harry Potter but also about other aspects of Oxford. Our tour consisted of all adults and Laura adapted her talk for us. You could see her enthusiasm about Oxford.
We had made a mistake in our booking and Alasdair was incredibly accommodating and responsive. He also attended the tour, adding a couple of comments. He even accompanied one participant who had to leave early to the rail station. 5 stars all around! More...

In May 2019 we took part in a walking tour in Oxford (Morse, Lewis, ...) It was an absolutely excellent tour with a lot of background information. Elizabeth (our friendly tour guide) gave us a very good insight into the filming and the characters of the Morse, Lewis and Endeavour series. Even if you haven't seen (all of these) movies, the tour will also be very useful to come to the most worth seeing places of Oxford.Thank you for that lovey afternoon. More...

Peter was the best guide ever!
My husband and I signed up for the Skip the Queue Harry Potter Tour of Oxford. We were lucky that the other couple scheduled for the tour had come that morning, so we got a private tour from Peter. He was full of information about the history of the city and the university, as well as Harry Potter trivia and film locations. He went above and beyond the call of duty to take us to interesting locales, and took a personal interest in what we wanted to see. Thanks so much, Peter, for the fun afternoon! We did a Harry Potter film locations walking tour with 'visit Oxford tours ' Peter our guide was really interesting and made the tour fun for the whole group with costumes and a wand for the children. We also had an interest in Morse/Lewis and he showed us several of these film locations too. Even after the tour had ended Peter didn't rush off but stayed to answer all our questions. Jake his colleague was also helpful and friendly. Thoroughly recommend the tour. it took us to places we never would have thought of going inside. More...

We took the tour out to Blenheim Palace from Oxford. As a group of 4 we got a very personal tour. There were several events going on that limited our access, but our tour guide navigated the difficulties (loud sound checks for an evening concert and closed areas) with professionalism and persistence. We did the walking tour of the city with Monica followed by the cycling tour with Andrew. Both were amazing! The walking tour was interesting and informative, and the cycling tour was an amazing experience riding through town, through a field with cows and horses, with stops at a beautiful very old church and at a pub for a drink before heading back. Would definitely recommend!

Il modo migliore era quello di farlo con una guida ed in un tempo ristretto: Oxford Official Walking Tours era la risposta alle nostre esigenze! Abbiamo prenotato online ed il nostro tour è stato guidato da Rob. Per un paio d'ore ci ha accompagnato tra le vie della città e dell'università, ci ha illustrato passaggi storici, aneddoti, personaggi famosi, con incredibile dovizia di particolari e qualche battuta per mantenere viva l'attenzione.
