My daughter will be going to year 11. She has been at VCP for more than a year now. The attitude of Revathi ma'am and Pattabhi sir is not a professional one, it is more like that of a guardian. Despite having very reasonable charges, they keep providing stuff like books, free food to children (as the sessions can be long). They also take care that the children do not get jaded, and sir loads them up in his huge van, takes then to a nearby park for a quick break and fresh air.If the child signs up of taking early IGCSE, they help prepare the children and they take the children from Reading to the exam centre in Fareham (on the exam day), takes them to KFC on the way to the exam centre and also on the way back. All of this without charges, again. In one single charge, they provide classes for a number of subjects. They also set up nominal and symbolic cash rewards for most of the assignments and huge rewards for great GCSE performance.Also VCP runs a whatsapp group for the parents and there is a very good interactive feedback system.All of the above is on top of great teaching of the subjects - which has lead to improved confidence and better performance in all the subjects. The approach is just so effective and helpful. My daughter scored a level 9 in IGCSE Maths, so she will have one subject less to study in year 11I couldn't recommend VCP highly enough. More...

My son attended VCP tuition centre for 8 months during his Year 11. Dr Pattabhi is a dedicated teacher who spends a lot of his personal time for development of his students and takes pride in their success. Dr. Pattabhi is very kind & polite and it was very easy for my son to discuss very complex topics with him (even if those were beyond the curriculum). Dr. Pattabhi also allowed my son to assist him in teaching other younger students and this helped him to develop his confidence. With guidance, support and encouragement of Dr Pattabhi, my son focussed on his studies better and secured Grade 9 (A**) not only in Maths, Additional Maths, Physics, and Chemistry which are taught personally by Dr Pattabhi, but also achieved a mix of Grade 8 & 9s (A* or equivalent) in all other subjects. I am really glad that we chose VCP for our daughter's 11+ coaching and I am obliged to leave my reviews for Mr and Mrs.Pattabhi. They both have a very good knowledge of how the 11+ system works and also how to deliver it to the children in a most efficient way. Their way of teaching is excellent and the dedication they show towards their job is amazing and many a time has made me wonder. They analyse the potential of the children very well and push them to give their best. Both the teachers are always ready to help the children and guide the parents. I can't thank them enough for helping my daughter qualify all the five different exams she sat for the 11+ ..Henrietta Barnett, Kendrick & Slough consortium, Buckinghamshire, Essex and Gloucestershire ,with an assuring score. Another thing worth mentioning is they are so friendly,caring and approachable which makes both the children and the parents feel VCP is much more than a tuition centre.
