It's been over a year and all of our guests still cannot stop talking about our food at our wedding!! Best choice we could've made was to go with Vintage Pizza Pie Company! Extremely professional, Friendly, and Fun owners and workers, plus AMAZING pizza who could go wrong!?! From the tasting to the quick communication to the big day it was all fantastic, and smooth, and put this brides mind at ease! We cannot wait to have another large party and have Isabelle and Richard return. More...

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of having Vintage Pizza Pie Co. cater our son’s garden wedding atop the hills of Northumberland. I cannot express enough how pleased we were with Isabelle and Richard’s service. Being new to the area I was not familiar with what catering services were available and took a chance searching online for something mobile. The first site that popped up was Vintage Pizza Pie Co. After reading their story and viewing pictures of the vintage truck and copper oven they caught my interest. Arrangements were made to meet them at the local farmer’s market in person and give their pizza the “taste test”. We were impressed from the moment we met them. We knew that they were exactly what we wanted for our special occasion.
Throughout the planning stages we found they responded promptly to any questions or concerns we had. We were able to select the main course and dessert pizzas to our liking.
When they arrived for the wedding they made a grand entrance into the backyard. We had kept our dinner plans a secret from our guests (which was not an easy task since we were so excited about it). They were friendly, organized, clean, and interacted with the wedding guests. Their pizza was fantastic and Isabelle’s home-made old-fashioned lemonade really hit the spot. Who ever knew you could make a dessert pizza?
If you want to provide something unique at your next function, we would highly recommend Vintage Pizza Pie Co. Thanks Isabelle, Richard, and Crew!!

After a busy summer I am getting to write some vendor reviews for my may wedding! The pizza was a HUGE hit and people are still talking about it ! ( This was 4 months ago !!) Vintage pizza pie is the best ! We used vintage pizza co. For our late night snack and we could not be happier with how it all turned out. It was such an amazing pizza but also an amazing experience! They have the cutest little tent set up and buffet area and the pizza is delicious! Isabelle was so easy to communicate with and always so prompt with answering emails and questions. We chose 5 different pizza options which we're all amazing! It was hard to even narrow it down. They were also very accommodating with any dietary restrictions. When they were packing up they brought in some of the left over pizza and needless to say it didn't make it home with us! Once people found out it was stashed behind the head table that's where they went ! More...

We've had Vintage Pizza out for several events at our farm. Can't say enough about how great their pizzas are. People love them and so they often sell out. Clearly they use premium ingredients as you can't get that fresh, nuanced taste any other way. On top of all that, Richard and Isabelle are a pleasure to deal with. Thank you for making us look good! Looking forward to seeing your truck in action again - this pizza rivals any stone oven bricks and mortar pizzeria I have found. Fantastic pizza, and a very cool truck! More...

Truly authentic and delicious!

What a pleasure to meet your team yesterday at the Newcastle Harvest Festival. You are as charming as your food is delicious. I hope we cross paths again in the food truck circuit.

Three weeks ago I discovered Vintage Pizza after having eaten over-priced "wood oven" pizza at another chi-chi winery. The duck pizza came highly recommended but my partner would not let me have one for "desert" since he thought all pizza was the same (silly man) and that we had had enough ( what is this concept of enough when it comes to pizza? ) for one day. Reluctantly I left Sandbanks winery armed with the information that Vintage would be back on the July 15 weekend to continue rescuing taste buds from tedium. Three weeks later I returned to the grassy lawn of Sandbanks having made my pilgrimage from Pickering. I came armed with all manner of payment so NOTHING would stand between me and "the meat lovers pizza". I gladly paid my money for my pizza (which though is not "cheap") is worth every penny and arguably more for that first to last bite. As I waited for my pie, I wandered into the winery for a glass of vino to go with it. Not wanting to miss my gastronomic union with my pizza, I hurried back out to the garden like an anxious bride racing to the church to meet her groom. but ohhhh what a "groom" (no husband was ever as hot for a bride I 'll tell you!). My luscious pizza in hand I found a quiet spot to rest my wine and begin "eating with my eyes". The crust was perfectly formed, rustic in its shape and gently kissed by the fire in bubbles on its edges. The sauce blanketed the thin crust peeking out from under slices of Hungarian salami and decadent shards of duck meat. At that point I would have paid for that vision alone, and I am glad I took the time to really see my food because it is part of an indelible memory. However, nothing could have prepared me for my first bite. The crust was soft and crispy, the sauce was zesty and a little acidity, the salami was salty goodness, but the duck....ohhhh the duck was sublime! I open myself to ridicule from naysayers when I say it was an experience, but why else did I close my eyes and sigh and savoring the tastes in my mouth know that I was creating a memory? That was the single best pizza I had ever tasted and I enjoyed every bite the same as the first. My only regret (well there were two, but the first) was having to share it with my partner. But seeing the look on his face I know we shared a moment with our pizza. The union of two was now a threesome. Every subsequent bite was bitter-sweet...sheer enjoyment and realization that I was nearing the end. I even spilled sauce on my top and didn't care (except it may have been another mouthful) because it was a a badge of honour, a testament to a moment well lived. I lingered in satisfaction after it was done and was reluctant to even drink my wine as I was savoring the afterglow (you know...like the other one...yep that one!!). I decided there and then I would be a groupie following Vintage Pizza Pie Co. all-over. I went to express my gratitude to the wonderful people who had fed my pizza loving soul only to receive the warmest hug and the news that they would be there the next day! I left for the day sure that I would eat duck pizza for lunch again. But...(and here comes the second regret) I arrived too late the following day ( I knew teenagers would be my undoing!) only to have a young server break the bad news to me. My taste buds wept! And though she shared her yummy desert pizza with me by way of consolation, the only consolidation I did have was that I was armed with info on how to follow my pizza heros and find my food love whenever I need to get some.
