I had a great time at the Kappa Luau and I enjoyed the Vines Mansion. I regret that I did not do a complete tour of the Mansion but apparently I can not walk and chew gum at the same time. There was a lot going on and I just could not fit the entire experience of the Vines Mansion on my list of things to do. Hopefully one day I will get a chance to totally experience the Vines Mansion. This is a beautiful venue, I was here for an Kappa two day event and I couldn't get over how beautiful this venue was I walked into every room and I felt it was perfect for this event and weddings and the garden was amazing, I went out a few time just to take in another moment I was personally impressed with this venue.

We got married here July 14th 2018. I can't thank the Vines and the staff enough for helping with our day. Christa was our events director. Let's just say, everything was on schedule with the start of the ceremony, to working with my vendors to make sure everything ran smoothly and on time. Which I'm proud to say it was. I had a bride who planned her wedding here back in March 2017 (I am a Cake Artist). As I was booked for full services, I was in attendance from two hours prior to the event, until the sparkler departure. The venue, owner/site manager, onsite employees and staff were all very easy to work with and very accommodating. The grounds are well manicured and the extensive decking is breathtaking. We had the most amazing wedding at Vines! Barb was very helpful throughout the entire process and the place just lends itself to a multitude of options and configurations that you can customize any way you see fit. Now, if you don't want to manage every aspect of your wedding and make it truly personal, then perhaps you may want to find a more all-inclusive option. Vines is just the opposite of that: bring your own vendors and a wedding coordinator and the sky (or your imagination) is the limit. We had an ice bar on the patio, a backdrop banner in the front, open bar stacked with the wines and liquors of our choice bought at regular store prices, our own decor, our own DJ, etc. Vines helped guiding them, but it was really up to us to plan it from start to finish. With a help of a professional coordinator (of our choosing, again), it all went flawlessly! The place is incredibly beautiful and lends itself to amazing photo opportunities all over the Mansion and the grounds. You are guaranteed privacy and many memories for years to come! More...

The scenery at the Mansion was very lovely with a lot of rooms to accommodate the amount of people in which I was there attending the Kappa Ball. However, I did find it at some point as you mingle from one room to another there were some very steep steps without notices that can cause a very bad accident. Our wedding is a night that I wish I could relive all over again!!! The staff at Vines were very accommodating and my guests loved the mansion and the grounds. I toured several venues in Gwinnett before I decided on Vines. I chose Vines mainly because you were allowed to select your own vendors and bring in your own alcohol. Many of the highly rated venues in Gwinnett charged an arm & a leg for food and alcohol. I liked the flexibility of Vines and the beauty of the grounds because I wanted an outside ceremony. Christa Bellew was very helpful and organized, she recommended great vendors. I also worked with a separate wedding planner who directed my reception and having her there for the evening and Christa there to direct my ceremony made my wedding flawless. My guests commented over & over again on how much they enjoyed the wedding and the venue. My only wish is that the evening could have lasted longer!!! Highly recommended! More...
