Vines and Vows Events

We had the pleasure of working with Vines and Vows when we booked the SS Sicamous for our wedding in August. We met Jillian at the venue to discuss our vision for our wedding. She was upbeat and had a great energy about her. As we were having our wedding at two different locations, there was extra work involved for planning and organizing. Jillian took this challenge on and helped us tremendously. She provided us with a list of vendors from the caterers, marriage officiant, down to the florists. When we had questions, she was always on hand to answer them. We met several times to discuss our big day and she was always very informative and helpful. She even went out of here way to load her truck with all our wedding supplies and such to transport them to the next venue once the ceremony was over. I would highly recommend Vines and Vows when planning your wedding. Jillian was great to work with. She was fun but always professional. She makes your special day effortless. We worked with Tammi to plan our wedding at Sandy Beach Lodge in Naramata Sept. 2019 and she was absolutely wonderful!! Right from the very beginning of the planning stages, up to the day of the wedding – she was always helpful, upbeat, available to bounce ideas off of, quick to respond to any emails or phone calls, and had a way of making me feel so much more calm about the whole wedding planning experience! In the initial stages of planning, her contacts with different vendors made hiring a caterer, DJ, live music for ceremony, bar tenders, photographer, hair/make-up, and most importantly RENTALS, so seamless and she helped us choose an absolutely rock star team to help with our wedding day!! When our fall wedding turned into more of a winter wedding feel and the temperature dropped to a balmy high of 8 degrees for the wedding day she made sure we had extra heaters added to our rental order for the tent and formulated a plan B in case of heavy rain and wind (which thankfully we did not have to use - but knowing she was there and would make the call and set up the switch if needed was a huge weight off of my shoulders!). I had guests come up to me after the wedding day and tell me “your wedding planner was so fantastic! She was running around organizing everyone with a big smile on her face, it really looked like she loves her job!” Tammi is truly a warm and welcome friend to have at your wedding, and BONUS she is also super organized, funny, and will do everything in her power to make sure your day goes exactly as you planned! The excitement of being engaged was soon followed by a panic of “HOW DO I PLAN A WEDDING?!” My parents suggested Vines and Vows and I’m so happy they did. Jillian was incredible from day 1 and she instantly put my mind at ease. She was great at communicating and it was so helpful to have someone local (we live in Vancouver) to help us plan our wedding from afar. When I originally reached out to Tammi. I was in the process of recovering from a stroke. I simply sent an email inquiring about the services offered through Vines and Vows. My dream was to have a fall wedding in the Okanogan. This however was a little more challenging as I live in Calgary. After my initial email inquiry Tammi reached out and scheduled a call with me to see what I was looking for. This was very simple to set up and I was given a quote immediately with no hidden costs or surprises. Tammi corresponded with me through email and phone call often throughout the planning process. From my very first phone call with Tammi I knew right away that I didn’t need to interview any more wedding planners. I had found the perfect one for me. Wedding planning can be an emotional and high stress process. I felt that Tammi genuinely cared for me and for making my vision of a wedding come true. She was extremely kind thoughtful and willing to go the extra mile to help me out. My wedding was everything I could’ve ever dreamed of and more. Tammi made sure that the day went off without a hitch. Even when it meant heading back into town half an hour away to get us more propane tanks. This is next level Customer Service. At the end of all of this I feel that Tammi is not only just my wedding planner but has become my friend. My wedding at See Ya Later Ranch in Okanogan Falls will be something that I talk about for the rest of my life. I am so thankful to have found Tammi! She put me in touch with some of the most amazing vendors in the Okanogan. I would have been so lost without her. Bonnie and I wanted to thank Vines & Vows for all the hard work they put in from across the country over the last 9 months to help us celebrate our marriage. We weren't an easy couple to deal with at times due to the time change, but Tammi was patient and worked with us cosely whenever we could all discuss things.Everything from getting us the most incredible venue to helping take care of every single detail, up to and including the day we got married.We simply could NOT have done this without Tammi.I not only recommend Vines & Vows, I would encourage any friend who is looking to get married in Naramata, that they must work with Tammi and Jillian!
