the BEST Kouign amann I had the pleasure to taste. I am floored, I've had them in St. Malo, and they just can't compare. I don't know what they put in it, but it is crispy, gooey, perfectly sweet, like I am completely being honest with you, I went in getting one just so I had something to nibble on while I browsed around the town, and I had to turn around, go back into the store that I left 10 minutes ago and ask for TWO more. I made the biggest mistake of my life and should have gotten FOUR. I really don't know if I can find this sweet little nibble of heaven in London that was as tasty as these one, so sad!!! Anyone reading this review, please take time to go into this store and try it for yourself. Will. not. disappoint! More...

My partner and myself came here today in search of some 100% dark rye loaves, of which we were surprised and delighted to have found at this lovely local bakery. I can confirm from 10 minutes ago that this is by far the best dark rye loaf ive ever had. We'll be coming in each week to get our bread here from now on! Local businesses are goldmines. Two years ago we moved to Lincoln from New York, USA. Two things we were missing most (apart from family) are the pizza and the bagels. Visited Vine’s on their opening day and bought a dozen bagels.
