The best market around, advice...do not go in there hungry, I always spend way too much as everything looks good and the produce is gorgeous. Started buying there cooked meals, week nights can be a challenge. This has helped me out huge. 2 nights a week a go to one of our favorite recipes, Heat it up, loaf of their fresh bread and we have a great delicious meal and time to enjoy each other’s company. Never had a bad experience or product or service. This place got it right. Produce is top notch. Best Deli around and the meat and seafood are always fresh. Try their bakery and a hidden gem is their coffee and gelato bar. Pizza is outstanding and we get it once a week as a family treat. They have the freshest produce around, and the fresh meat selection is great and always the best. Also check out the deli meats and cheeses. So I have been going to vince and Joe's for 35 years. I grew up going to this store. It's my favorite and I am proud to have it in my home town. That being said......the other day my husband and I went there to get produce with our 3 year old daughter. We noticed that an older gentleman who worked there was staring at my husband all the way through the store. He ran out to get his wallet and the worker followed him and watched him. When we were at the checkout I glanced over and he was still staring at him hard as if he thought my husband was gonna steal something. It was ridiculous and insulting. We are an interracial couple and I have never been followed around a store like that. Like I said, I am a third generation customer. I have spent thousands of dollars in that store. And my husband didn't steal nor was he acting like he was going to. We were just a family out shopping like any other. Being black in a store is not a good enough reason to follow somebody around like that. It is extremely uncomfortable to try to spend your hard earned money in a store that looks at you like your in there trying to commit crimes. And the sad thing is that I have childhood memories at that store so it's hard for me to say that I just won't go there anymore. This has been on my mind since it happened and I just wanted to get it off my chest. I don't know what I'm gonna do. But I hope this gets addressed. More...

Great service in the deli, I’m usually very pressed for time because my husband had a stroke and he can’t be left alone for too long. I can call ahead and ask (Chez) to have my selections packaged and ready for me to pick up and he’s more than happy to do this for me and it’s so appreciated. Best grocery store I've been to. Very good meat,veggies, and definitely can't forget about the ice cream. I refuse to go grocery shopping anywhere other then Vince and joes and would recommend to anyone looking for a new grocery store to go to

Meh..I love the wine selection and expertise they have there. They keep the store staffed well. I never wait in line long to checkout. I like that they have a dedicated gelato area. That is a nice treat once in a while, instead if ice cream.The freshly squeezed orange juice is really good. I don't know where else I could buy that. They dropped the price from 9.99 to 7.99 per 1/2 gallon a few months ago. It doesn't taste the same though.I like that they have Boars Head lunch meat. The prepared lettuce salads are good, but quite expensive, like $10-16 per package. I'd like the salads if they didn't include that dry cooked chicken that is in most of their salads, and they'd probably be cheaper.I honestly think their prepared foods, meaning the counter items/prepared to eat or cook right away, are just ok. If I had time to cook, mine would be better, and I've never been trained. Not sure why... just nothing ever leaves me thinking... oh man, I gotta get that again! Same with the pastries. They look absolutely beautiful, but taste... they're just ok. Most items that you can find in another store are more expensive at Vince and Joes. I can only guess they have more costs for their large staff that serves customers very well and that prepares so much on site. If I liked their food better, I'd be there a lot more.If I could give 3.5 stars, I would... not for service or selection or price; those are fine, just for the taste of their prepared foods. More...

Vince and Joe's is my favorite "go to" mkt for free veggies. Prices are usually very good. I'm so pleased with the departments, the deli is usually busy, so you can place your order on line - let them know when you will pick up and it's ready and waiting for. The have a Seafood Dept were you can buy a whole fish and the gentleman behind the counter will cut it the way you want -fillet, steaks ect. Oh, most of the seafood is Wild caught. The meat Dept is a true butcher shop, if they don't have it in the counter, they will go in back and cut what you need. This time I was able to get (sale) grass fed ground beef for $5.99lb. The bakery Dept is tasty, I love the "lunchbox" ciabatta rolls and their Multigrain bread. Their sale flyer comes out on Wednesdays, you can sign up to receive the sale flyer every Wednesday in your email. Oh, Don't forget to sign up for a rewards card, definitely worth it. More...

Not being from the area, we ordered a very large carry out order with platters of sandwiches for a funeral across the street. I had an especially good experience at Vince and Joes today. As always all the sale items were available, the store was clean and well stocked and was brimming with freshly prepared home made products. At the check out, one of my bottles of lemon juice leaked. The clerk (Tamika) not only caught the leak, but she kindly asked another employee to get me a replacement. I was so surprised and pleased. Not only is the store excellent, but so are the employees. Tamika told me how much she enjoys working with her customers. Her actions and her attitude made my day. More...

I almost always come here solely for the desserts at the bakery because they are to die for! My grandma is obsessed with the chocolate dipped cannolis and I always like to try a new treat every now and then. I highly recommend the Bichenstich "Bee Sting" cake slices! Won't deny prices are a bit out of my budget to do regular grocery shopping here, but when I need something special that you won't find at Kroger or Meijer, I usually manage to find it or something very similar at Vince & Joe's.
