We had a few teething troubles initially when organising my sister inlaws 60th. But stephen worked with us until we all agreed on a way forward.
The actually night was amazing, all staff we very attentive and professional ensuring everything was perfect.........the food was outstanding, bar staff worked hard and fast and the D.J was one of the best we have ever had.

I can't believe this hidden gem is right in the heart of Heaton Moor. Well done to the new owners for this beautifully stylish refurbishment. VP really does have something to offer! Myself and and a group of friends had an amazing time on a Friday night. The pianist/singer was very well received by the crowd. Any song that we requested the pianist could do, which kept everyone happy and up dancing. The atmosphere in there was fantastic. The entry is free and it's open till late. We had our sons christening in the Ballroom at Village Point. The service we received was impeccable, everyone was very friendly and and super attentive, nothing was too much trouble and they simply couldn’t do enough to help us. Me and my hubby held our wedding reception at the Village Point on 27th December. I have to say the staff were fantastic throughout.
Steve and Emma have been fabulous with all forms of communication and amazingly accommodating with all of our requests.

We both live in Dubai and trying to organize a wedding from so far away would lead you to believe it would be a nightmare! Not with Steve and Emma! They make you feel at ease and that no request is ridiculous!

We’ve just had our son’s christening party at The Village Point, and it was the perfect venue! The Ballroom is a large, light, fresh space with plenty of room for kids to run around while the adults caught up with each other. Emma and Steve were very helpful and accommodating when organising our party, and the food and service were brilliant on the day. I’m now thinking about having a birthday party there in the future! We had a surprise 50th for my beautiful partner Louise and the night was perfect. This is a great venue and five stars for Emma and Steve for planning and organising, five stars for Felix and his amazing piano set, super five stars for Shelley’s food and a big five star thank you to DJ Dan for his music, which had everyone up dancing all night long. Highly recommend this venue.

I had a party at Village Point on Saturday evening. From the moment I enquired with the venue about the booking, right through to the event, the team there was an absolute dream to deal with.

They were clear about what came as standard with the booking, what the extras could be and how that affected the price. They were accommodating of all the little details and ideas that I brought with me too.

We booked a band and a DJ separately (though could have booked them through the venue) and both band and DJ commented on how exceptionally easy and brilliant all the staff were to deal with too.

All I can say is a massive thank you for making the party exactly what I had hoped, for looking after me, my guests and the band and DJ so extremely well, and for helping to make sure that everyone was having fun.

We had my husbands birthday do at Village Point - it was the second event we've held here as we were so impressed with the first event we held here - our Son's Christening. Emma and the team are amazing - they think of every small detail and provide a very personal service where nothing is too much trouble. They get to know you and suggest things that they think are going to work for your event and go with your theme. I couldn't recommend Village Point highly enough and we will certainly be using them again in the future! More...

Had our wedding reception here last October. Venue itself is really nice, clean and finished to a high standard and the staff are great too. Although we decorated ourselves they did offer a full service.

Generally speaking it is a great venue however can’t give it 5 stars because they only allow you to use their preferred caterers. We only wanted bacon / sausage butties in the evening but the company we used, Buffet Masers, where crazy expensive (£9+ per head...for a breakfast sandwich) and there service left a lot to be desired. But this was our experience, I’m sure that their other preferred caterers are better.

That aside, I would highly recommend Village Point. To anyone looking for a reception venue or just a general function space. More...

We had our wedding here at the weekend and couldn't of asked for a better venue or team . Emma was fantastic in decorating the ball room for us . It looked beautiful.
The bar staff worked extremely hard as it was a full packed night for them.
Nothing was ever too much for them in making our day so special . Everything ran so smoothly.

The food was also outstanding Shelly and her team made such beautiful food and the 200 plus people there had nothing but fantastic things to say it was absolutely delicious.

Thankyou so much to steve and everybody involved in making sure we had an amazing wedding.

We will definatly be recommending to anyone who is looking for a venue to be hosting.

I had a thoroughly enjoyable evening, the venue is delightful, the décor classy, and the food to die for. The hosts and staff were attentive to our every need. I would certainly book the venue.
