Andrey is the ONLY DJ to go to in San Diego County. For our wedding, he and his assistant Dan worked hard to find out our needs, we never felt rushed during the planning phase, and he gave us great advice. We provided him with the songs we wanted and played virtually all of them. Andrey also edited our first dance song down just as we wanted it, and he did it like a real pro. Dan was incredible at keeping people having fun and was a very friendly presence in the room, with a beautiful rich voice that was very pleasant to listen to, and fantastic smile.

Andrey is consummate professional, superb at communication, and I feel like as a DJ, there is nothing he can't do. The best of the best! Highly recommend for any event! Oh, yeah, and just a really chill guy, too.

We hired VideoParty DJs for our recent multicultural (Ukrainian-Greek) wedding. DJ Andrey truly performed above and beyond our expectations. Late review, but wanted to share my positive experience. I booked Video Party DJs for my daughter's recent sweet 16 in 4S Ranch. Their price was the most reasonable. DJ Andrey sent us a link where my daughter could share her playlist ahead of time, and he even asked me if it was ok or not ok to include explicit songs. Day of the event DJ "Kruz" came with a friend. They were early, set up with no problem, provided the up lighting and black lights for our "black light dance party" theme, and the music was great. We had DJ Andrey Chayka DJ our wedding this past weekend. We were so happy with the turnout. He was very professional with us in the time leading up to the wedding. His website allows you to enter in your timeline and create playlists (and more importantly a list of "do not play" songs). Since he never had been to the wedding site, he actually went up to our wedding venue with us to scope it out. He had great ideas of how to set his system up.

He was very flexible in working with us. When we asked him, about a week before the wedding, to setup some speakers for our ceremony, he came a little early and had a very nice system setup for the ceremony.

Throughout the ceremony he kept people on the dance floor playing the perfect mix of music that everyone enjoyed.

We would definitely recommend DJ Andrey Chayka for any event. More...

Working in the industry, I have seen DJ Andey Chayka (DJ Filosoff) DJing and MCing at weddings and other private and public events many times and he is the one I always recommend to people I know. First of all, he knows what he is doing. He knows how to work a crowd and what songs to play and when. He also knows how manage the sound. I once even saw him playing his keyboard on the top of the music he was spinning. That looked and sounded so awesome! Another time I saw him playing music videos on a large screen, which was very unusual and drew a lot of attention. I had them play at my graduation party. Awesome job! Since I really enjoy dancing, I need a DJ to cater to my needs. My party included a mix of cultures ( Russian & American guests. ) So it was vital for the DJ, to appeal to everyone's taste. He was super smooth with his taste. I've attended several events hosted by VideoParty DJs and can assure that they always over-deliver what's promised. DJ Filosoff knows how to build smooth, but dynamic ambience. He's very attentive to all requests and feels the crowd. Resources like music records, light, video signals, speakers are constantly upgraded with new and improved ones.
