He treats you like a human being, and takes the time to know you and your personality -- the pictures he takes will reflect your own style and relationship, and that's what makes all of his work special. What really won me over was the extreme attention to detail -- the little things, like camera angles, lens choices, Photoshop work, even making sure power lines aren't in the outdoors shots - these are all important things you really want for your wedding photos, because you only get one chance at them.
