Vida Chic Weddings and Events

My husband and I were already married but we really wanted to have the wedding of our dreams and plan it the right way from the beginning. John is in the Air Force and was almost immediately deployed after we started planning. I, of course was devastated and planned to just cancel the entire thing. Chavah’s Husband is also in the military so when I called to tell her she wouldn’t let me just give up my dream wedding. I actually cried for half of the conversation! I feel like she completely understood what was happening and how to deal with it. We worked hard to adjust things according to what we knew was going on but let’s be honest… When your husband is in the military you rarely know what’s going on. We planned for a time we thought would work (which was about 8 months later than originally planned) but they made sure to talk to vendors about being flexible with our situation. Everyone was amazing and when he got back we hit the ground running with planning the final details. I can honestly say I wouldn’t have had a wedding if it wasn’t for the Vida Chic girls. First of all,Do not waste your time trying to do this yourself. I was coming from California and did so much research to try to find the perfect person in each category. The DJ/entertainment portion is where I cracked and gave in and started looking for help. After one conversation and about an hour worth of time we literally planned almost half of our event. I couldn’t have been more happy with the people that she picked specifically for me.When we first talked she told me how she does not have a wedding vendor list which I thought was odd. Doesn’t everyone? But when she explained that she was working for me and not for other vendors it made complete sense. She connected me with the people that made my day spectacular. Some of which didn’t even have any online presence at all!!! How do companies run like that? I could not have handpicked a better group of wedding vendors to work with. The fire dancers really made the evening and I never would have even thought of that. This is a special group of ladies that work hard to make your event different. Chavah was the best wedding coordinator and a friend a bride could ever ask for. I’d lived on Oahu and moved to the East coast, meaning I knew the area but had to plan my wedding from far away. It was crucial I had a professional and passionate coordinator, and Chavah was more than what I hoped for! We had regular phone meetings from the moment I booked her, and she handled all the vendors’ business and guests’ needs on the wedding day. I don’t think I could’ve done it without her!She absolutely works with your budget! We spent the biggest chunk on the venue as it is Hawai’i and wanted to save on the music and decorations, and she had various options for all the needs and budgets. As long as you have reasonable expectations (e.g. you will have to put your time and effort making song lists if you’re saving money and only borrowing equipment instead of hiring DJs), Chavah and her team will do everything and more they can for you. They were also our florists (we had sort of tight budget for flowers but with particular tastes ), and my bouquet, arch pieces, and the center pieces were exactly what I dreamed of! They even put succulents on the cocktail tables even though we didn’t include them in our lists. It was amazing! My husband and I just got married two days ago in Honolulu and we’re still over the moon and blown away at how incredible our special day turned out, all thanks to Chavah and her team. We live in Australia and having never been to Hawaii myself, I needed someone I could put my trust in to piece everything together. When I first found and messaged Vida Chic events, Chavah was so quick to respond and clearly stated her services and prices (which were really reasonable). Chavah has put up with many of my bridezilla moments, my last minute changes and indecisiveness and always just made sure I was really happy with the decisions that were made. All our wedding guests loved Chavah because she’s such a great person and so much fun. We were so lucky to also have her amazing team Gentry and Karina on the wedding day to help. We thought it was very generous that we were given three people to coordinate our day. I could seriously keep going on and on, because Vida Chic made our day so perfect. Our rehearsal dinner that she organised, my bouquet and all our floral, the ceremony rentals, the reception room and tables...absolutely everything was perfect.
