I had quite specific ideas of what I wanted the cake to look like and Victoria's cake looked even better than the inspiration image I had shared with her. Not only did it look amazing, but it tasted incredible too. I will shout my love of our wedding cake from the rooftops - Victoria, you are a genius! Our carrot/red velvet naked cake was utterly stunning and tasted amazing. Having a cake with cream cheese filling was perhaps a slight risk in the middle of summer, so Victoria kindly delivered and set up as late as possible even with curious guests milling around her. I cannot recommend Victoria's Cake Company more highly! Victoria made my husband and I the best wedding cake we could have ever hoped for. We're so thrilled that we found her! We wanted something special and a little bit different for our cake - something summery but not a standard flavour. Victoria made us a *gorgeous* vanilla passionfruit cake. It was absolutely incredible!! Best cake we've ever had. It was a semi-naked cake, and we'd been warned that they can dry out quickly. But not so with our cake: Victoria's sponge was very moist and the passionfruit flavour was an absolute *dream*. The cake just melted in our mouths. It was perfect!! Our guests were raving about the cake on our wedding day (and afterwards); everyone came back for more. And not only was our wedding cake beyond delicious, but Victoria was such a pleasure to work with from start to finish: she was exceedingly kind and generous to us from our cake tasting right through to our big day, and she worked very hard to achieve our vision of what we wanted. We booked Victoria to create our dream wedding cake on the 1st June 2018. We shopped around before settling on a cake as we struggled to find a style that we both agreed on, that was within a reasonable budget, and that would please my mum (who makes cakes) and my husband who is a chef. Despite this we only got around to tasting one wedding cake, which happened to be Victoria's classic Victoria sponge. We booked and paid for our wedding cake there and then as we were so blown away with it. The sponge was completely light, flavouresome, sweet but not sickly and delicious. Victoria liased with us from then on and helped us to fine tune our ideas and bring them to life. On the day I was not disappointed, the cake looked and tasted sensational. We got so many compliments from out guests regarding the appearance and taste of the cake. We didn't get to try the other flavours we chose prior to the big day so it was a complete risk, but it definately paid off, especially the salted caramel layer, it was to die for! I would recommend Victoria to any one looking for a show stopping cake to carve a memorable impression of their big day, oh and to those who don't mind gaining a few pounds after getting addicted to her cakes!
