Victoria is a cut above, brilliant and creative. With an architecture degree, she is so much more than a designer. She imagines your perfect world--and then creates it for you. Many designers can make a room look good for a day, or even a year. But she has the taste, resources and vision to make your home beautiful forever. More...

Victoria is extraordinarily creative and very easy to work with. She thinks out of the box and I loved the ideas she gave me. Her choices in fabrics and wallpapers were top notch. I hired Victoria Klein to freshen the décor in several rooms of my home. Victoria managed to unify the entire first floor which had a choppy, unfinished feel with a few masterful changes. My living room, dining room, center hall, stairway and study were dramatically transformed with minimal changes: more subtle paint colors, re-upholstery of select pieces, alteration of existing curtains, addition of key accents and re-positioning all the existing artwork. The house still felt like my own - just more pulled together and far more appealing. Victoria also worked her magic on the second floor in the upper halls, master bedroom (with the addition of sumptuous silk curtains and custom linens) and two family bedrooms. She has an artist's eye for color and texture and an architect's command of space and design. Victoria is a pleasure to work with and I hope I have the benefit of her keen eye and unique aesthetic on future projects. More...

Victoria Klein completely decorated my turn of the century Mediterranean house over a period of four years. This included wallpaper, paint, furnishings, kitchen re-haul, and outdoor planting. All on a shoe string. I had used Victoria before on an old Colonial house, as well as a post and beam house on a lake. She had been brilliant on both.
Having never owned a Spanish style house, I was at a total loss on how to decorate. I didn't have a lot of money and wanted to use much of the antique furniture I already owned. Victoria's sense of space, color and style transformed every room, while miraculously keeping us on budget. My house was not only comfortable and beautiful, it felt like mine, except, thanks to Victoria's brilliant sense of style, way better. Now I never have to turn to my husband in the middle of a movie and whisper, "What do you think of that wallpaper?"
I never take a decorating step without Victoria. I have recently hired her again--this time to decorate a pre-war apartment in Manhattan.

Victoria Klein has designed three of my homes and numerous of my office locations. She is very attentive to detail and is always within budget and on time. Each has a contrasting style and she is very eclectic. Her great skill is listening and understanding the clients needs. Her skills as an architect have come in very handy in configuring space and her artistic skill with color and design most unusual. Other skills are taking items you already have and using them in new unique ways. She has access to items from all over the world and an ability to find just the right pieces Better than me telling you all of this look at her work at
www.cottages-gardens.com May 2015. Oh and by the way she is so much fun! Lee Bowes

Victoria transformed my home into a showcase of style and warmth! My Queen Anne Victorian is now a unique combination of the elegant and the unconventional that I could never have achieved on my own. Victoria marshaled her considerable contacts to design my living room, entry way, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom and three story staircase/hallway making every area welcoming and comfortable. Victoria and I sat down and reviewed my huge and unorganized archive of design photos I'd collected for years. I pointed out to her what I liked, didn't like, short of liked, wished was a bit different ... and, tag-da, she got me! A few shopping trips later we had established some basic elements for each room (fabric for curtains in the substantially windowed living room, a rug that set a Morris tone for the dining room, an antique bench from India for the entry, a paint color for the bedroom). From there Victoria brought me fabric samples, paint colors, and furniture suggestions. I was most amazed at her ability to work within my budget. She suggested splurges on statement design elements and filled in other elements with lower cost alternatives that worked in the overall scheme. Some of my favorite pieces that she found are low cost lamps from "antique" shops topped by marvelous custom shades that make them exquisite. One thing I appreciate is that my home is livable -- the chairs and sofas are comfortableand conveniently arranged, there is lighting in appropriate places, my kitchen works and is easy to keep clean.

I can't praise Victoria's design eye enough. Combined with her service mentality and good humor she is a treasure.

Victoria Klein completely changed the way I think about space and interiors. She immediately honed in on my personal aesthetic and was able to create a home that matched my sensibilities. She used gorgeous floral wallpaper as the central focus of my studio and then designed the apartment around the wallpaper, picking up the colors of the paper in every detail, from my couch to my curtains, and even my plates and cups. She found pieces that functioned perfectly in my small space, while also keeping in mind my budget. I would VERY highly recommend Victoria. No matter where I live in the future, I will continue to work with Victoria. More...
