I can't recommend VetPro Pet Care and Christine enough. Â We hired her to take care of our two cats, one of them needing eyedrops, for two weeks while we were on vacation. Christine provided daily reports and photos of the cats, administered eye drops, fed, watered, cleaned the litter box, played with the cats, brought in our mail, and even watered our plants. What do you love most about your job?
It makes me so happy when Clients comment on the dramatic difference they see in their pet’s behavior after they are cared for at home, rather than in a kennel environment.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My decision to start a Professional Pet Care business was solidified when I began working in Vermont. We boarded many animals at our hospital – sometimes more than 70 at once! My job was to oversee the kennel staff, and attend to any concerns with the boarding animals.
Unfortunately, there were many.
A large percentage of pets become stressed in a kennel situation, and a variety of medical issues can arise as a result of that stress. I saw in-home pet care as a solution to this problem – and VetPro Pet Care was born!

Daily Dog Walking / Playtime Visits
Our Daily Walks and Visits are customized for your pet.
We can go for a stroll or throw the ball around the yard with your pooch. We can sing to your birds, or snuggle on the couch with your kitty. Food, water snacks, medications and love are all given at no extra charge. We can also bring in packages/mail, adjust your thermostat, or even turn on your slow cooker.
At the end of each session, we send an update via text or email.
Receive pictures, notes about your pet, check-in/checkout time and a GPS map of the visit. You can also view these at any time in your Client Portal.
Dog Hiking / Outdoor Adventures
Our outdoor adventures give your dog up to 2 hours of hiking, running, swimming, jumping and otherwise just being a dog!
Your pet will have the opportunity to visit a variety of dog-friendly parks, trails, mountains and beaches on the Seacoast of New Hampshire and Maine.
With more than 35 locations to choose from, your pet will never get bored.
Pet / House Sitting
We visit your home 1-4 times daily to provide whatever your pet needs while you are out of town. Each visit lasts from 20-40 minutes depending on your pet’s routine. Extended visits (60 minutes) and overnight care are also available.
Our Pet Sitting visits are customized for your pet.
We will do whatever your pet needs to be comfortable, all at no extra charge.
We will perform a security check each day, as well as bring in packages/mail, bring out garbage/recycling, open/close your blinds, and keep indoor temperatures comfortable for your pet.
At the end of each visit, we send an update via text or email.
Receive pictures, notes about your pet, check-in/checkout time, and a GPS map of the visit. You can also view these at any time in your online Client Portal or Smartphone App
Pet Taxi
We take your pet to/from daycare, veterinary appointments, or the groomers.
Curbside Veterinary Visit
We will pick up your pet, bring him to the veterinarian, wait for his exam/treatments, then return him home. All you need to do is make the vet appointment.
