Having Veroronica as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! It was clear how passionate she was for her craft in the conversations before the wedding and she made sure she understood the runnings of the day and the atmosphere of our wedding clearly beforehand.
She made us, and everyone involved in the wedding feel so relaxed and happy when photographed, which translated to beautiful and fun photos which perfectly captured the day. We also got one of Veronica’s wedding albums, which was so beautifully put together by Veronica and something we really treasure.
I have gone on to work with Veronica since our wedding as she was such a joy to work with and she always makes such amazing creations.

We hired Veronica for our Wedding Photoshoot session since we couldn't have a proper Wedding due to the pandemic. She listened to all our needs and I had a good feeling about her even before our Photosession day. She was professional, kind and available throughout the whole process. Veronica was the photographer for our wedding, she was very professional and made everyone feel at ease. All of the photos were absolutely beautiful, the wedding album and the personalised engraved USB box with all our photos stored on it was a very special touch. All of our guests commented on how lovely she was! Her communication before and after the wedding was amazing. Due to issues with Royal Mail, the first wedding album was delayed and I feared it had got lost in the post, Veronica sorted it all out straight away! Veronica was fantastic from start to finish! We could not be happier with our wedding photos, she managed to capture so many special moments with some beautiful arty and sneaky shots. On the day she was a pleasure to work with and we barely knew she was there most of the time. The only difficult part was choosing only 40 photos to have in our album. The album was truly stunning, so beautifully presented with seamless pages and such a clever layout. Having decided last minute to have a surprise wedding, we hired Veronica without having time to meet her first. We have known Veronica’s work for a number of years and when we got engaged we knew straight away that we wanted her to be our wedding photographer!
In the build-up to the wedding, Veronica was very organised and easy to communicate with and on her suggestion, we visited the wedding and reception venue prior to the day. This in itself was an amazing experience, and it provided an exceptional insight into the venues.
On the day, Veronica captured numerous group photos as we had requested but where she really captured the magic was in her candid photos during the ceremony and throughout the reception. This was very important to us as we do not feel comfortable posing for photos and feel that it wouldn’t rightly express us as a couple. Therefore, Veronica’s discrete ability to capture special moments throughout the night perfectly encapsulated the relaxed and loving atmosphere that we wanted to create. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
I think that the secret to taking a great photograph is more than just about taking a beautiful image - it's about the story behind it. A good photograph should tell you something, being it a memory, a landscape, a space. Every photo is a tiny fraction of a moment, everything changes, everything happens very fast, even when you don't realise, the light is constantly changing. That's why I am mindful of every second, you never know when the perfect moment can come, better be always prepared!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
It will depend about the type of project, but I like to know my clients well. Apart from the basic questions like date of photoshoot, hours needed, budget, etc. I ask them to tell me a bit about themselves so I can get to know them better to capture the perfect photos.
What do you love most about your job?
I used to work on a 9-5 job, and hated the feeling that everyday was the same, day after day... I couldn't take it anymore and decided to freelance as a Photographer . Now I couldn't be happier, it's not only that I work when I want, but every job is so special, unique and challenging - I love it.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always been doing freelance jobs on the side while I had a normal 9-5 job, but it was recently when a freelance photographer that I met one day told me that going freelance was the best decision that she ever made. This moment and friends and family always praising my creativity gave me all the energy to say goodbye to my old job and hop onto the freelance train!
Why should our clients choose you?
My passion for photography: for me this is not a job, it's a way of life. I can't separate it, I love photography so much that it's part of my everyday and every-night life. It's wired into my brain, I can't call it a job when I enjoy it this much.
