I knew when I walked in the first day that I wanted to play tennis. I have not been disappointed. Dan set me up with a league. Rob gives me weekly lessons and I have really improved under his guidance.Now I add in the treadmills to get mileage for 100 miles in 100 days. I have tried the classes too. The instructors are all wonderful. Their patience working with an older client like me is remarkable. Dan and Leslie and all of the staff are friendly and welcoming. How nice to come in and be greeted by name or asked, "How are you doing today?" Love this place so much!! Everyone is friendly and they truly care. They offer amazing classes at all times of the day and my favorite thing is Vermont Sport and Fitness is FAMILY ORIENTED! They have a daycare!!!! How amazing is that!! If it weren't for this feature I would probably never be able to make it to a yoga class or to work out. I have belonged to 4 different Tennis clubs and my experience with VSF has been far and away the most enjoyable! The management really cares about members experience and it shows. They are really efficient at organizing and coordinating players and really go out of their way to help new members feel welcome and connect with other players. When looking for a health club, there are really no other reasonable options in Rutland besides Vermont Sport. They have experienced and friendly personal trainers, clean equipment, top notch indoor and outdoor tennis courts, a pristine outdoor pool, knowledgeable tennis professionals and even a child care for little ones to play in while mom or dad gets in their workout. VS&F is by far the best sports club and fitness center around! I am greeted by warm friendly faces the moment I walk in to the moment I leave.
