What kind of accounting services do you provide?
I am not a Certified Public Accountant, but as an entrepreneur, I managed my own general ledger and accounting processes including maintaining the books of the company, managing accounts receivable and accounts payable (including payroll), and fixed asset management. I use Quickbooks accounting software. I am also experienced at forensic accounting. I am also an expert at financial planning and analysis, cash management, and cash forecasting, although these activities are typically beyond the scope of basic “Bookkeeping/Accounting/Auditing Services”.
Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
It is vital for every company to maintain accurate financial records for tax and financial reporting purposes.
What do you love most about your job?
The precision required by keeping a general ledger is the detail work engineers and analytical people enjoy.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I am semi-retired and want to help small business get the same level of back office support as large businesses.

I am not a licensed attorney, but I am a Connecticut licensed realtor. And as VP and treasurer of Asbury Automotive group I was responsible for real estate for a company that owned or leased over 100 rooftops nationwide, and many of these sites had environmental issues. I am an expert in property negotiation, buying/selling freeholds, buying leaseholds, commercial contract negotiations, lease v. buy analysis, property due diligence.

I am not a licensed mortgage broker, but as a finance MBA and having been VP and treasurer for a Fortune 500 company with hundreds of millions of dollars of real estate and as a real estate professional, I am an expert at financial consulting with respect to residential and commercial mortgages, refinancings, and alternative financing structions, and negotiations with lenders.

Having had have had operational and financial roles in multiple industries including steel, defense, computers, automotive manufacturing, financial services, multi-point retail, apparel, and real estate. I am an expert in financial planning and analysis, treasury, and operations and am a Six Sigma Black Belt. Much of my career has been spent successfully improving the top and bottom lines of companies through implementation of process improvements and restructuring balance sheets for maximum efficiency and capital allocation discipline. I am an expert in developing business plans, company strategy, finance and planning, market research, and restructurings as well as operational functions such as risk management, compliance, human resources, employee compensation and benefits, supply chain management, distribution, production, and fixed asset management.
