This Veggie's To Go is the third location in Auburn/Opelika area. It's located at the shopping center on Frederick Rd, where the new local coffee shop Percfect Place Coffee is located. I went around 2PM, and there were about 10 tables and one person dining inside. There were lots of take-out customers coming by the restaurant. The restaurant serves diverse Southern meat items and veggie side items to choose from at order, along with daily meat and dessert special items. I ordered one meat (country fried steak) and three veggies (French fries, cole slaw, and rice w/gravy). The total was $9.25+tax=$10.76. Tip: students, military, and 65+ with ID gets a free drink. For over $10, I was worried that the food was overpriced. However, I changed my mind when the server brought out my food on the tray. On the plastic dish, I received reasonable size steak with my side items in three different containers. The steak was thick enough and the fries were freshly fried. This place should be your go-to place for good amount of food for a reasonable price. My friend was happy with his choice: two pieces of fried pork chuck and crispy fried okra didn't disappoint him. Mac-and-cheese had good flavor, and my cole slaw was crunchy and fresh. The service I received was also amazing: when I asked him what today's special item Chicken Dressing was, he gave me a sample so I could actually taste instead of imagining. I am definitely coming back to try other items and, hopefully, desserts also. More...

Visited this Veggies to on Frederick Road yesterday, June 27 2018. The food was delicious as always. The cashier was rude, acted as though she did not want to be bothered, leaned over counter on her cell phone the entire time I was there. I did ask for more cranberry sauce, as she had given me 3 packs( same size as square jelly packs at waffle house) I said can I get three more packs, she snapped NO, you can get 2 more...I would have paid for another, but, she did not give me that option, I took my 2 and finished eating...again the food was great, the place was clean, but the girl, she needed an adjustment More...

I love veggies to go! It's one of my fave "last minute dinner" places. However, the one on college only gets a 4./5 because they are always out of yum yum sauce (and never go make more when a customer asks for some) and they run out of menu items too fast. The one on Glenn gets a 5/5

Bad service, good food. Veggies to Go is the place to get some good home-cooked food in Auburn. My biggest disappointment with this restaurant is the lack of friendliness from the cashiers. I understand mostly college students work there, but that's no excuse for how they treat customers. Luckily the food makes up for their cashiers' lack of personalities. More...

Love it!. I love this place! You can get a lot of food for a decent price, its fast, and delicious! If only the one on south college would get a drive through!

Heaven on earth--I expected lots of college students, but the locals eat here as much as Auburn students!! Great home cooked veg AND three or four meat choices--it's just a great "meat 'n three" place! The grilled pork chops are tender and the vegetables were properly seasoned. Highly recommended "on the Plains!". Tell your kids to eat there, you will know they are getting their veg into them while they're at school or visiting. More...

Great food. Fast service, you CAN sit down and eat inside. Close earlier than Auburn students generally eat (8pm) and don't open on Sundays.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Auburn. The food is great and it is very informal. The fried green tomatoes are the BEST! The grilled chicken tenders are also very good. More...
