We found Bilal and his team really easy to work with, and also very knowledgeable about planning and building regulations so our designs were approved very quickly by the planning department. One of the best things about Varco was they were able to offer a structural engineering service in addition to producing the architectural plans, so we only needed to deal with one company who were aware of the entire project.Would use them again, and would recommend them to others. I instructed Varco Consultants to review a very specific issue of movement in a bay window. I received a first class service including quick responses to any communication i sent to them. The report i received was very detailed and gave a good mix of text description as well as photographs and diagrams. In short, they were very reasonable, efficient and obviously know their craft. I used Varco to survey a house I was going to buy. Many building issues were brought to my attention though the survey that I simply would of missed. Rising damp, slight subsidence, a crack that needed urgent attention and issues with the windows. All in all I am glad that I used Varco. Now the cost, I had quotes of over £600, Varco charged me just £130. I may add that was without a full written report but it was not needed for this project.
