My daughter has 45 mins of maths and English each week and it is really helping with her ability and confidence. Her maths is now in line with where is should be and her English is improving all the time. Currently in year 9 I asked her the other day if she enjoyed going to VAKS and if she thinks it is helping her to achieve a better GCSE grade and she said yes to both. Can't ask for more than that. VAKS helped me A LOT with science - from 5s and 4s I went to 6s, 7s and even 8s even in physics, which was always the hardest subject for me. Tutors are all very nice, helpful and supportive. My son has recently started with VAKS to gain confidence with maths. He had an assessment, we received feedback and then he started lessons. The tutor is very patient and explains everything well. In addition my son receives regular homework, which helps him understand the work covered during the lesson (this is especially useful as his school tends to give only online homework, whereas the VAKS homework is more linked to his future GCSE exam papers). It is a little early to say how much this will help him, but he is certainly enjoying the lessons so far and says he is finding it helpful. My daughter started at Vaks for 11+ over 2years ago and we have not looked back as we kept her there even now she’s in secondary school . My older daughter also just joined Vaks for GCSE prep and it’s the best decision ever as her confidence keeps growing in all her subjects. She is confident she can beat her predicted grades with the help of Vaks.

A huge thank you to Martina and all of the Vaks team for their tremendous efforts in supporting our son Nico through his GCSE’s. He joined the team almost a year ago to help him with his Maths and English and seeing him gain confidence week by week was a real pleasure.

Special thanks go to Gill, Chris and Imogen for their engaging approach and overall support provided during each session. Nico was continuously motivated to work hard and push himself to reach his full potential which we put down to the supportive environment at Vaks.

Both my children attend VAKS. My son is at GCSE stage and VAKS has been a life-saver - being a working mum having VAKS to turn to has made my guilt of not being around to help him disappear Prices are very competitive and works out the same as having a cleaner & I'm happy to sacrifice that! Honestly the best tuition out there, they got me from a Predicted D to an A in a matter of months for my English GCSE- I was only expecting to leave with a C grade. The impact of this was long lasting as it helped me with my A levels and I am now going off to university. They are extremely friendly and understanding and suggest a number of resources which is just extra help to improve. They are the best tuition group out there, and I have unfortunately been through a fair few before reaching VAKS which do not even compare the the quality VAKS tuition can offer. Moreover, they are all extremely encouraging and believe that every pupil can succeed; even when they doubt themselves (which I certainly did) and go above and beyond in order to help every individual student achieve what they require, if not better. Working for VAKS has been and continues to be a very enjoyable experience for me. The team are extremely friendly. In my capacity as a teacher, I appreciate being able to teach and coach very small groups of students reinforcing ideas and concepts that they come across in school. The atmosphere is very relaxed and even the naturally timid children feel at ease and willing to contribute.
